Scandal!?
I never would have thought of ska when thinking of Gackt/Vanilla… but the comparison is SPOT ON! 😂
Here are my recommendations :
Gackt : Mizerable, 鶺鴒~seki-ray (absolute perfection this one!!), Story (totally different style, extremely emotional ❤🩹), Secret Garden, Another World.
L'Arc-en-ciel (I was a BIG fan of theirs back in their early years) : Pieces , Nji (虹) – absolute perfection too♥, Dive To Blue , finale , Honey, Kasou (花葬), flower, Heaven's Drive.
Gackt was in the Final Fantasy 7 game, while singing for that game soundtrack, Redemption, and he sometimes hides himself in Malaysia,
Scandal starts their image in high school girls band persona, and they outgrew those and dwell into J-pop idol stuff and get back to rocking the world again, and
L' arc Ciel kind of ruined Kei visual band for me as most of kei visual vocals tend to sound the same as them,
How the hell you got the funkiest Gackt song ever?
L'Arc-en-Ciel definitely is something you should check out more of. They're wonderfully versatile. Some amazing stand out tracks that you don't see talked about are 'Blame', 'My Heart Draws A Dream', and 'Blurry Eyes'. I think any of them would be a great listen for you whether you record it or not, I'm sure you'd enjoy it.
React to more visual kei pls
11:23 it used to be called Rock sounds, lead guitar used to squeal and howl back then, these days lead guitar tend to either trying to be the bass or rythm, if not being stringed buttons, played like a piano or keyboard,
More Scandal!
Yes, thank you 😍
The michelle gun elephant
Blanky jet city
The yellow monkey
I always enjoy watching your videos! The three artists you featured are among my absolute favorites, so I was really thrilled. I actually started watching your channel because of BABYMETAL, who I love dearly, and I never expected to see all my favorite artists put together like this. Thank you so much for such a wonderful video!👍
Driver's High is the opening for the Anime Great Teacher Onizuka, I'd like to recommend that show, it was a great show as the title suggested, however,
I also would shout out the Live action Opening titled Poison by the lead actor himself Takashi Sorimachi, and his version of GTO was also phenomenon, and to be honest, I watch the drama version first before the anime, but that was because the drama was aired on tv and the anime wasn't aired until Animax officially launched in my country, and the drama kind of got a reboot and then a revival with the return of the original casts from the OG drama,
Low key, I realy wanted Sorimachi to come back to Beachboys tho, that drama was dope, all the actors and actress still active, yes they are old, but that is what the show Beach boys was all about, growing up, I just want to see them comeback to that beach and chat around campfire again, talking about life and strugle like how they did back then, now that they are older, a reunion party would be nice,
More L'arc!
This is a song by one of the groups featured in your “Japanese Top 100" reaction video. I don't think I've ever seen you react to this group, and they're quite different from any of the groups you've reacted to before. I'd really love to see your reaction to them. Thanks!Hope you'll consider it!

2:00 No, he looks like a super saiyan XD
Need more l'arc en ciel and Scandal. would recommend listening to top hits from each band. I would guess a lot of their songs will be familiar to you since they sang a lot of anime songs
Would also love to see you react to the anime openings these bands feature in.
As you said you expected something heavier and crazier, "Driver's High" is a rare bright song among L'Arc!!! 😂🤭💕lol
Usually, most of their songs are dark and visionary, so I really want you to check their other songs too!!! 😌😆💕
LAr'c~en~Ciel means rainbow in French but they're really a great band!!!
flower / Lies and Truth /

❤️🔥 My heart just burst a reaction to GACKT and L’Arc-en-Ciel/Hyde in the same video is like Christmas to a Visual Kei is obsessed like me please do more reactions to their content.
Scandal has an interesting evolution, from their beginnings as a schoolgirl with an independent label, capitalizing on that image, to later joining a Sony-owned label. They have matured with each album released, exploring different styles while maintaining a rock base and adding pop elements, making them a versatile band. All the members play, all the members sing, they have composed a large part of their discography, and they always try to do something new and different, even more so since they started their own label, 'Her'. All of this makes them one of the most solid bands in Japan, with 12 studio albums, a Guinness World Record for being the all-female rock band with the same original members, and 20 years since their formation, making music without stopping or taking breaks.
You could also react to their songs 'Shoujo S' or 'A.M.D.K.J.'
