I got into fighting games because of seeing the Daigo parry, and the crowdโs response. I always had thought fighting games looked cool, but thereโs no scene where I lived, so I was never really exposed to it. Seeing moment 37, it was like the clouds opened.
Street Fighter history? I think this is the best moment is fgc history period. It made me start playing fighting games

2012 my friend tried to get me to watch Evo with him. I didnโt grow up playing fighters and we were talking about it and he showed me Evo 37. 13 years and thousands of hours and dozens of weeklies later, still mashing buttons. Would never have played if it wasnโt for Justin and Daigo. The skill ceiling they showed us existed made us all want to get better โค
