UPありがとうございます。前にも書いたもですが、この曲を最初に聞いたのは「フラワー・コンサート」のアルバムでした。アグネスの香港での活躍とか洋曲事情とか知らなかったので、わけワカメでしたが印象的でした。^^
UPした後に気づいたのですが、今回の「サークル・ゲーム」[Remastered]が888曲目でした。ゾロ目ですね。^^
改めて今回この曲を選んで良かったと思いました。
この曲を聴いてすぐに、香港のデビュー盤、各種アルバム、日本のデビュー盤、各種アルバム、さらにはテレビの弾き語り、最近のYouTube の弾き語り、などなど、できる限りの「サークルゲーム」を聴いてみました。
この歌はどのバージョンも、フォークソング歌手としてのアグネスの、甘さを抑えた歌い方（特に香港盤）が印象的でした。
そして最後に「映画/いちご白書」の主題歌である「サークルゲーム」の原曲も何十年ぶりかに聴いてみましたが、やはりアグネスファンとしては、「サークルゲーム」＝アグネス。
そう思うほど定着していて、アグネス以外の誰が歌ってもしっくりこない。これはもうアグネスのオリジナル曲と言ってもいいくらいの領域に入っているのでは？と思うほどなのでした。
本当にアグネスのデビュー曲として申し分のない名曲ですね。

オリジナルを含む他のバージョンよりアグネスバージョンが一番カジュアルで気軽なイメージがして、当時の10代のアグネスにピッタリですね。

作ったのがジョニ・ミッチェルだからてっきりいちご白書の主題歌を歌ってるのは彼女だとずーと思ってました。このあいだの生中継のグラミー賞で歌唱前の80歳のジョニのプレゼンターの人が、作ったのに誰かにあげたみたいなことを言ってて初めて知りました。
アグネスがこれを歌うきっかけは、歌いたい曲を選ぶ中で紙に一番最初に書いてあったから、と最近のいろいろなテレビ番組でも言ってましたね。他はどんな曲があったんだろうなあと考えたりします。サークル・ゲームでよかったですよね🎉🎉🎵🎵
