Hello everyone! I’m OyuuChannel , Kiki’s mom, and I’m a hands-on cook. Today we are going to have our annual Halloween family photo shoot, and as Kiki’s mom, I am going to cook. I thought I would make the “plum cobbler” that was introduced in last year’s “What we eat in a day” video,

We received some delicious plums from Takahashi Orchard, which we are always grateful for. They are delicious eaten as is, but I decided to make a plum compote (like a jam) with them,

It is very delicious when made into “cobbler”, a baked pastry like a pie or tart, Today I’m going to make a plum cobbler. #Pskitchen Start!

Plum cobbler Ingredients: 1 pie tin (22 cm in diameter, bottom comes out) Filling 6 to 8 plums or apples (use less sugar if using apples, add 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice) 2 to 3 tablespoons sugar Dough 150 g rice flour 50 g coconut flour (or almond powder) 10 g baking powder Pinch of salt Sugar 80g 80g coconut oil 3 tablespoons milk of your choice (soy milk, cow’s milk, rice milk, etc.)

Preparation 1) Make the filling. Cut plums into bite-sized pieces and put them in a saucepan. Add sugar and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally. When it becomes jam-like, it is ready. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

(3) Make the cobbler dough. Put all the ingredients except for the ★ in a small bowl and mix with a whisk. ④Put the ★ ingredients in another small bowl and mix together using the same whisk you used in the previous step.

⑤When the mixture starts to thicken, add ③ to the bowl of ② and mix with a rubber spatula until combined. Lightly press together with your hands. Wrap in plastic wrap and let rest in the refrigerator. (9) Tear the remaining dough by hand and place on top. Bake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes until the surface is golden brown. (Baking time varies depending on your oven, so please keep an eye on it.) Yes, I am! So, That was how to make plum cobbler. How was it?

The sweet and sour taste of the plum compote and the soft sweetness and crispiness of the dough make a delicious and handsome dessert. You can also make it with apples and other fruits. Please try making it with fruits that are easy to find.

I brought it to a friend’s home party as a dessert.  It was great reheated and served with ice cream! I hope you will all try making this ♡

This is my son Airu, aka Tombo, who I was able to shoot with for the first time in a while! Perfectly done! He came from Tokyo! Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule. Airu: “I wet and set my hair in the washroom of Shinkansen 😂”. I see! Thank you ♡
