Megumi Is Cooked

Now before anyone goes down in the comments to assault me it should be clear that this video will be mainly looking at meami strength in regards to the versus hierarchy yes I agree Megami in his own right is strong however please follow me as I go through the

Feats in question and show you why Megami is a little underpowered in comparison to the bigger scope of sorcery now already just off of his introduction it looks really bad when he’s forced to use up his Shiki gami and protect yuji’s friends which makes Yuji look far more impressive than him and

This is yuji’s just raw physical strength just off of his introduction he looks weak as as a person with no knowledge of sorcery and just with bare hands is better than him however it is shown later that in his fight with sakuna he was holding back and he could

Even manage to react to sakuna although barely and it was also probably because he wasn’t trying but we also just see him and Yuji barely stacking up to arguably the weakest special Gade in the verse that being the finger Bearer so already just off of the first few

Episodes it isn’t looking good for megumi and it gets a lot worse when he interacts with aloi Toto who essentially does what Rockley did to Sasuke at the beginning of the cheating exams and just absolutely whale on him after he failed Toto’s test it was so bad that bro was

Contemplating on using his strongest Shiki gami right then and there and had to get Panda and edum maki’s help before Toto gave up megami’s been in three fights so far and two out of the three fights he’s already resorting to using mahara and he doesn’t participate in the

Mahito arc where itadori goes on to grow a lot more powerful and now has knowledge of cursed energy and even shows relativity to the likes of namami a grade one sorcerer this Yugi is so strong in megami’s eyes that he thinks he could take on anyone in Goodwill that

Isn’t Toto in terms of physicals which we do see to be true in the Goodwill event itself but in this Arc as well we do see Megami fight now in his fight against KO he does somewhat overwhelm him without using his stronger shikigami and I would call this a w but it’s what

Comes after that makes me say otherwise you see the special grade disaster curse hanamy shows up forcing the students to team up to take him down and during this fight we see K showing off piercing blood which actually manages to do some chip damage to Hanami not only does this

Have meami surprise but he even questions that he was holding back and to be fair Megami doesn’t use his sword or totality and we do see totality damaging Hanami and to be honest this just kind of tells me that K and megami’s AP should be somewhat relative

To one another as they can do some chicken nugget damage to Hanami with Megami maybe being a little superior but I’m just not too sure let me know down in the comments what you think but who really cares as the moment Hanami shows up and Megami has to fight him he just

Takes a fat L along with Maki inumaki and K and once again itadori would grow exponentially in power being able to now damage Hanami with his raw physicals and Megami even after the event would say that he’s going to surpass him implying that yui’s stronger just think about

That for a second base Yuji by the end of Goodwill could probably just beat up totality with his bare hands that that’s that’s honestly pretty funny to think about and if you you guys think it doesn’t get better well you’re wrong in the next Arc meami would go on to fight

A stronger finger Bearer than the one he fought at the start of the series adapting to the Winner’s mentality that Gojo was talking to him about in order to step into a new realm of power he would then show off his domain expansion which although isn’t completed is still

Arguably the most powerful thing a sorcerer could have Megami would go on to catch this W but right after this he would pass out so honestly you could say this is like barely a w but I’m going to be nice to meami as this was pretty much

Made for all three members of Team Gojo to step up and we can now talk about Megami in shabuya the only W he catches is against aaka who he legit needed itadori to get past his curse technique and overwhelm him this isn’t even a single W this is more like half of one

And I will say technically he does get the W against toi but toi literally offed himself and before that he was just pimp smacking him the entire time and he tries to fight sakuna and then just gets body slammed by by his own shikigami that he summoned Megami does

At least show off his growth though showing relativity to early shabuya and the same Yuji is relative to base namami in raw striking power and he was shown the ability to clash with and open dagon’s domain showing that he is more than likely above nanami as even 30% of

Dagon’s domain was overwhelming Nomi pretty badly and toi instinctively goes after the strongest in the room and he does pick Megami when nanami and naito were there and granted everyone there at that point is fatigued but that everyone would also apply to Megami who just got done using a domain expansion meaning

His cursed energy reserves are probably pretty low right now so by this point you can make a case for him beating nanami or at the very least is capable of fighting people on his level and is approaching that disaster special grade tier of strength the next and final Arc

We will be talking about is the calling games which um yeah this is not looking good see on one hand Megami catches his first legit W against a character who’s kind of competent you know I’m not going to lie this was a legit W for meami on

The other hand you have him receiving not only the biggest l in his career but probably in the entire series like this is worse than any L Joo has received first let’s talk about the W he receives which is against Reggie who he does actually beat through using strategy and

His more refined domain expansion like I said this is a legit W so I’m going to give this to meami you know meami is actually on a role now he’s you know you know he’s doing his thing him and Yuji are doing their thing you know I can’t

Wait to see what other W’s he’s going to get oh my God bro yeah before Megami could attempt to summon mahara against sakuna sakuna manages to body Swap and essentially leave megami’s soul in Eternal Darkness for the rest of the series now currently the manga is ongoing and we don’t really know the

Fate of meami but two things could happen he either comes back after the final battle ends and you know is just alive meaning his W to L ratio would be like a [ __ ] negative to or he just simply dies which is just going to add another L to the scoreboard for meami

It’s really unfortunate as you would expect Megami to be like just right behind itadori in terms of like glow up and you know him actually becoming super strong but it just doesn’t really happen and it seems like itadori is the only one really getting the glow up now it’s

Kind of unfortunate but I hope maybe somehow some way they manage to redeem Megami I don’t know how he’s going to fight s right now because well he is sakuna but if there’s any way to incorporate meami into getting the final W against sakuna that would be pretty

Cool but with that being said I have to ask a question what does meami even do

So already just off of the first few episodes it isn’t looking good for Megumi and it gets a lot worse when he interacts with Aoi Todo. He basically doesn’t what Rock Lee did to Sasuke at the beginning of the CHUNIN exams, and just absolutely wailed on him after he failed Todos test.It was so bad that bro was contemplating on using his strongest shikigami and had to get Panda and Inumakis help before Todo gave up. And he doesn’t participate in the Mahito arc where Itadori goes on to grow a lot more powerful and now has knowledge of cursed energy, even showing relativity to the likes of Nanami, a grade 1 sorcerer. This yuji is so strong in Megumi’s eyes that he thinks he could take on anyone in goodwill that isn’t todo in terms of physicals. He would also show off his domain expansion, which is arguably the most powerful thing a sorcerer could have. Now Megumi does catch his W though right after he passes out so, honestly YOU COULD SAY this is a draw but ya know what I’ll let it slide. Now let’s talk about Megumi in Shibuya. After showing off his domain and him finally being able to beat special grades to a degree, I wonder how many W’s he’s gonna get. Guess what, HE DOESNT CATCH A SINGLE ONE. The only W he catches is against a character he needs to jump with Itadori, so this isn’t even a single W, this is more like half of won. And the other quote on quote victory is against his dad who proceeds to off himself and give him the win. And he tries to fight Sukuna, and then just gets body slammed by his own shikigami that he summoned. Megumi does at least show off his growth though, showing relativity to early Shibuya yuji, This is the same yuji who’s relative to base nanami in raw striking power. And he was shown the ability to clash with and open Dagon’s domain, showing he probably is above Nanami as 30% of his domain with Naobito was overwhelming him. And Toji instinctively goes after the strongest in the room and he does pick Megumi when Nanami and Naobito were there. The next and final arc we will be talking about is the culling games which uhh, yeah I don’t know man. Megumi here catches his first real W against a character but he also catches his greatest L not only in his career but probably in the entire series if I’m being honest. Like this might be worse than any L Jogo has received. 1. Megumi is like that one gifted kid in highschool, where they perform really well and everyone thinks they have so much "potential" only to have him be dunked on in college or at work. Potential is all well and good, but it also means both ways, unprecedented growth or unrealized potential.

  2. Is he a fraud? Yes and no, I never really put that much stock into Megumi so I wouldn’t really call him a fraud just underwhelming when it comes to his combat prowess. It would be different if he were hyped up in the story to be crazy strong and then shown otherwise. If that were the case then calling him a fraud would be accurate

  3. This came at a perfect time with 251 spoilers recently dropped. Not only was this bumass a jujutsu sorcerer for probably about a decade, recieved training from Gojo and Maki in jujutsu and martial arts, was born with a CT said to rival Limitless+sex yes combination, inherited CT with a manual on how to use it, but he could not unlock RCT, BF, or muster any impressive feat whatsoever.

Look at Yuta, Yuji, Higuruma who all achieved RCT, some even performed BF and DE after MONTHS of being sorcerers.

Megumi clearly did not inherit his father's genes when it comes to talent and fighting ability, but clearly inheritted his bum ass broke status.

  4. Imagine your dad is one of the greatest assasins and you are apart of one of the 3 great clans with the second best cursed technique and you have gojo who has been your sensei since like maybe 5 or 6 and you dont have no hands no experience using the other ten shadows and the kid with raw physical strength has to protect you from the cursed spirit AND THEN YOU GET YOU'RE WHOLE BAG STOLEN AND SUKUNA USES IT BETTER

  5. If Megumi recovers from the body swap somehow before the series ends, he'll no longer be potential man. With Sukuna in the driver's seat his body got to experience expert usage of cursed energy application. He both experienced using and received the most impressive domain usages in series and he'd have Maharaga unlocked. That would launch him to top 5 minimum.

  6. i’m gonna keep it a buck, megumi is worse than dbz cell arc Krillin. Megumi is forever on fraud watch and is easily the weakest and most worthless character every written
