And the little black scribble next to the rough. I want to draw this character too… but the rough sketch I drew at that time wasn’t very pretty, so I put it off because I wanted to draw it a little prettier. By the way, we were talking about Lunar New Year.

Are you a house where ancestral rites are held? Do you know about the candy called ‘Okchun’ that goes on ancestral rite tables? It doesn’t really taste good, but it’s really pretty. It looked very model-like… like a toy… Then, suddenly, a word crossed my mind. ‘Decora’ plus Okchun, Yakgwa, rice cake, and candy!!

Isn’t it a very decorative design? So, I’m going to draw it decorated in jet black in the Decora style. yes? Agreement? Is it necessary? Just an agreement with myself is enough. So the expression on his face is not very good. are you okay. The dandelions will love it. As expected, the rough starts small.

The brush in use is the [Buche de Noel] custom version of Nari’s Pentagram brush set. Custom settings are uploaded to the YouTube community! When I’m doing the rough work there, it’s hard to see if it’s too dark, so I lower the opacity of the brush to about 70%. Then, layered expressions became possible,

I try to draw a little bit of what goes outside the frame. It’s good to understand the structure! It’s easier to set all the colors during the rough draft so you don’t get lost, so I created a separate layer for each color to make it easier to edit.

This guy has dark black hair, but I didn’t want to just paint it completely black. Since this year is the Year of the Blue Dragon, I wanted to add a little bit of blue. Add some more color to white. It’s fun to practice writing colors correctly…

Why didn’t I know about this fun thing? But I have no choice but to not know. Because I did a lot more work that required showing the original colors. Since I’ve barely done anything to color with mood, now I just have to learn something new!

I’m not saying it wasn’t like that in the past, but it feels like I haven’t used the pen pressure properly? Now I want to learn a bit about pen pressure control. However, I don’t like brushes that are too thin… I still prefer thick brushes. Thin, but not too thin!

It’s like a strange feeling…exactly. Everyone, do you use a sharpie? Sharps are divided into types depending on their thickness. On average, many people use 0.5mm, but my friend prefers 0.3mm and feels 0.5mm is thick, while I mainly use 0.9mm and feel 0.5mm is too thin. It feels exactly like this…

I like thick lines so this is thin enough! But if you look at other people’s pictures, it’s a thick shaft… Well, whatever you like, that’s fine! I like thick lines~!! It’s difficult to redraw the shoulder line, so let’s do it this way. Good lines have to be used somehow…!!

Right now, I don’t want to refine the lines too much, but I want to draw them neatly all at once! Ah, that was like that before… So, when I’m filming and I come across a scene that’s drawn well in one go, I feel very proud… Wow, you drew it well~!!

This needs to be edited. Instead, I made 10 mistakes in order to draw that one line. The bangs are a very important part, so I want to draw them as neatly and well as possible. Ah, what is it? I don’t like the pen pressure.

As I draw while modifying the pressure curve like this, the brush settings often change a lot… A brush that fits perfectly in your hand… can it exist if my taste has been fixed for 30 years? If not, I will continue to draw it while changing it little by little.

I guess it’s true that there is ego attached to the name. So, when creating a character, even if all other parts are easy, is naming it the most difficult? The hands can be said to be the main thing after the face. I really want to draw this pretty!

I want to draw smooth, well-groomed fingers!! I remember drawing it full of these thoughts. Personally, I often omit cute fingers, so the small joints at the end are often omitted, but when I draw handsome or pretty hands, I like things to be a little more realistic,

So I tend to work hard at drawing the joints. Things like wrinkles that form when your hands are folded. On the contrary, if you draw too hard, your hands will just jump out again. I think it’s really difficult to draw because you need to know how to draw with proper deformation…

Since the hair was cut and the structure became ambiguous, I simply knitted the rough again. I want to draw hair that looks like it’s swirling around like this. At times like this, I sometimes want to give up the square canvas.

I’ll probably think of a better way if I draw it several times, but today is my first time, so I’m satisfied with giving it a try. We can do better next time! My hand is twitching because I want to draw a long straight line.

No, but why is Okchun so distorted?? Why is the elliptical shape so difficult? When I flip it left and right, it’s always distorted… Let’s make it pretty like making hamburgers. Okchun has finally become something worth looking at. I need to give up my desire to draw well all at once

And start sketching instead. I plan to draw the Yakgwa using a symmetry ruler and then transform it to create a rough sketch. Transform it according to the tilt of the head, add thickness by copy-pasting, and you’re done sketching! There’s something about drawing this curve… there’s a sense of stability…

Thick lines… the best. It’s fun because it feels like an emoticon or sticker. If you draw Yakgwa several times, you will get used to it. But I think Okchun is more difficult than Yakgwa… Pretty oval? What is it? All I have left is Okchun, who is like crushed dough…

I want to attach a norigae decoration to the lucky bag, and I also really want to draw this knot. Why do I go through all the trouble? I thought about it, but I thought it would be really pretty if I drew it well… so I analyzed it structurally first.
