2023年、買ってよかったもの紹介 | 陶器、家電、ファッション、美容、本

Hi, it’s Hige and Me. Just a few more days to go, and the year 2023 will be over. Every year we say that the year has flown by… What kind of year was it for you? We are …. We have met with many things this year.

In our last video of the year, we introduce some of our favourite things we bought this year! The best thing I’ve bought this year is the yoghurt maker, without which we wouldn’t be able to talk about the year we’ve had. It’s been indispensable in the kitchen ever since I started loving fermented food.

Fermented seasonings I always keep in the fridge. These are what I use these days. Fermented Chinese dashi, fermented Japanese dashi, soy sauce koji, salt koji. (I’m out of onion koji too). Fermented seasonings that can be made in many different variations. Many more to try!

The most indispensable thing on a dining table is tableware. I met a lot of nice one. Here are some of our favourite pieces I recently bought these vessels by Koji Kitaoka at Proto in Kuramae. I like the size, texture and colour of everything, and I already like and use them a lot!

I tend to buy big plates, so I’m glad to have more small plates like these one. The exquisite flatness is another favourite point of this dish. Very beautiful when stacked. We met Noto Midori’s dishes at the spring pottery fair in Mashiko.

I quite like and love the vigour and wildness of the shape of both of them. Yoichi Shiraishi’s porcelain plates are love at first sight with their exquisite hollows and shapes We met these at an exhibition at the new Conran shop in Daikanyama and bought two of his dishes. Textured white. Beautiful.

Dish made of recycled fluorescent glass by Tomokazu Igarashi. I love the texture of the glass that is formed in the moulds, and the moment I found it, I bought it without hesitation. It’s so beautiful that I can really look at it all the time. I put fruit on it.

Lastly, it’s not a tableware, but it’s ceramic, so I’ll introduce it here. From the ceramic jewellery brand arie:chroma, a vase that was made in collaboration with a calligrapher. I fell in love with the primitive atmosphere at first sight and this was also an instant purchase.

Hige-san bought this T-shirt at an outlet store on the way back from camping. The shape is very good, and it’s the outfit Hige-san has been wearing the most recently. The flocked logo on the chest is understated but makes a statement

Toogood wool trousers with tucks is one of the most favourite trousers this year. He likes them because they go well with his style. He also found this one at an outlet store. Mr Handel It’s solid and I use it as a commuter bag with his PC in it

A silk dress that worked great on my summer trip to London. I love the simple shape and colour (it’s very wrinkled currently…) Bulgarian army fleece I bought in a hurry because it was too cold at an outdoor event I almost never buy clothes like that but

Now I often wear it under outerwear because the neck ribbing is so high and I love without it. MALIN + GOETZ roll-on type perfume bought in London I really like the scent ‘leather’ and have been wearing it ever since I bought it.

The hair salon recommended this treatment to me and I started using it. I use it for my bleached hair and it’s a must-have. A naturally derived cleansing foam that I started using a while ago. The foam is a bit loose, but I like the herbal scent and the feeling after washing.

THREE’s face wash with scrub I used to wash my face in the morning in summer. It is a vegetable scrub, so it gently cleanses. I liked it so much I had to repeat several bottles. I plan to use it again when the sebum levels are higher

DAMDAM cream is a favourite that I’ve repeated many times over the last year It’s a rich cream and I use it all the time, except in summer. Le labo beard oil for Hige-san’s beard care The scent is very good and after putting it on, he smells luxurious.

The gauze weave is very pleasant to the touch and although it is thin, it wipes away moisture well.

Large towels can take a long time to dry, especially if they’re large, or they can become half dry condition. But this one dries quickly, which is one of the things I like about it. This year, four years after we moved in, we finally bought one proper chair.

A form that was only possible because of the collaboration of the high level of Japanese artisan’s technique and international designers. It’s quite a favourite that we like at first sight and fall in love with even more when we sit on it!

I’ve started to talk about how I’d like to collect a little bit of proper furniture. We kept saying the house was cold, so we finally bought a foot heating system. Sunramera, which uses far-infrared rays to warm the air safely without drying it out.

The price is rather expensive so we considered a lot, but after researching it, we found that its functionality is genuinely good and that it is a good choice. The simple design that doesn’t follow the trend is also good too.

I’m getting busier and busier. This year has been impressive in that sense… It’s been a year of… Well…. You are more distracted at the end lol That’s not good – lol. You know what I mean? I was distracted, right? Exactly. This! Wow oh no lol Oh, my God, that’s unbelievable. Once again… Ah….

Oh dear… Isn’t it horrible ? This… Is it melting? The other day I forgot to boil the water and got into this mess… I’m glad it all ended in laughter. Please be really careful with the fire, everyone please!! Well, I was putting on my headphones. If you put on headphones, you’re definitely out.

You’ll get the worst of the noise cancelling, lol. Yeah then Work on it. When I realised…. I was like…… What I’ve done! I mean, I’m just really glad it didn’t catch fire. Maybe it’s the personality. When I’m alone… I can never, ever wear full equipment. Like shifting the headset a bit?

I’m too anxious. Like, what if something happens? Well, I’m a bit of a worrier. I basically always make sure to hear things. I’m definitely trying to get some outside sound in. Certainly… Certainly, that’s, that’s important. Next year… Well, winter, actually the end of this year…. Kettle… I wanted to get a new one

We’re boiling water in a pot right now, lol. Well… It won’t take long, will it? Time is honestly crazy fast on the contrary by pot. But it’s hard to pour hot water lol I’m already having a list of things to buy in the new year, Kettle and… I want a sofa too

Yes a sofa, finally… Yes now we’re ready to have a life with sofa again. We went to London and stayed at a friend’s house, It’s been a long time since we’ve had a sofa… We’ve just remembered it once more. I’d like that! We’ll buy it! I want it very, very much.
