  1. I am Anka form Germany and my highlight this year was my spring Japan trip with my boyfriend. It was my second trip to Japan and it made me so so happy to show my boyfriend some of the places I loved the first time around and to discover new ones together – also all the delicious food was just the best and seeing the full cherry blossom season was pure magic!

  2. Jen, US, what a wonderful comments section to read through! Congratulations to everyone for their accomplishments! My highlight would be hosting more people/events in our home. It’s a bit uncomfortable for me but I’m enjoying pushing beyond my comfort zone.

  3. I'm Isabel, from Spain. My highlight this year is all the unexpected traveling: I quit my job in January in hopes to pursue a more fulfilling career and, despite not knowing what the future may hold, I decided to go traveling. I did the Interrail (Italy, Austria, Germany, Belgium, England & Scotland) with my little brother, who tried flying for the 1st time, and I'm currently in Nepal. I've been enjoying your channel from every single country I've visited. Thank you so much for your dedication!

  4. Chiara, from Italy! My highlight this year is that me and my husband bought our first home! I'm really excited for the next months of organization, decoration and DIYs, and I'm always looking at you for some good inspiration!

  5. Alessia Stella, Italy – Everything you bought was so precious and cute! 🥹
In fact, one of the highlights of my year was finding out about your channel.
I just love your aesthetic and your attention to details… 🫶🏼 Keep up with the good work.
I hope I get to visit Japan soon! 🤎 x

  6. Soy cristina te saludo desde Cali, Colombia amo tus videos la forma en que los haces es maravilloso, me has inspirado a elaborar mis repisas para mis plantas, gracias por compartir parte de tu viaje ❤

  7. Heather, from Idaho, USA. The highlight of my year was the birth of my daughter. It's been such a joy getting to watch her grow and experience everything for the first time.

This comment section is so wholesome. Seems like everyone is from all over! That's so cool. Happy Holidays and cheers to a fabulous 2024! ❤

  8. My Name is Yvonne and I'm from Germany. My highlight this year is my new job and flat! I studied for a long time and now I'm finally independent. That feels really good 🙂 Thank you for your calmy videos, Hilary <3

  9. I'm Allison from France! I love each of your videos since the start of your channel. My highlight this year is my trip to Malta, a very cute island just below Italy where the sunsets are incredible ♥

  10. Nádia, Finland. This year I’m finally making peace with living abroad, having to deal with actual winter season and darkness during many months, and dealing with anxiety and panic attacks. I moved here from Brazil right before the pandemic, and alone. Being away from family, friends in such a dreadful and stressful moment was an incredible challenge. I’ve been learning a lot, found a family here – a dog, a partner, friends – and I’ve been healing from inside out. Thank you so much for your videos, Hills, it’s one of the channels I go to when I deal with anxiety and panic attacks. You’re an inspiration. A wonderful holiday season for you and your family ❤️

  11. Hi, im Sanja and I'm from Croatia. My highlight of this year is a plane trip to Ireland. Despite the fear and panic attack, the desire and will to see my sister was stronger. We are very connected and rarely see each other, so we wished to see each other more often next year. And I faced my fear and I am proud of myself.

  12. Sophie, Germany. My highlight is for sure my move to Bremen. I also got to move in together with my friend, which is awesome and I love very much.

Thank you for your peaceful videos, I look forward to them a lot! 🫶🏻

  13. I am Alba, from Barcelona! Impossible to choose just one highlight from this 2023. I had married to the love of my life, I have passed all the teaching state exams and I have become a civil servant and I am expecting a healthy baby girl for next year. Couldn't ask for more as all my family and friends are also doing fine!

  14. Adela, the Czech Republic. The highlight of this year is obviously my new kitty! I have never had a cat but always wanted to, and having her brings me so much joy <3
Love your content, Hill, it is so calm and relaxing!

  15. Lena, Belgium. The highlight of this year was getting our black kitten Jiji in June (Yes, of course inspired by Ghibli and Kiki's delivery service). We lost our first and beloved cat Pastis unexpectedly at 4 years old in March 2022 and it broke our hearts. The house has been empty and we didn't feel ready to get a new cat. My sister found Jiji for us, also unexpectedly, and even though we didn't feel ready yet in June, we are so in love with him now. he is helping us heal and fills our appartment with life and i am forever grateful for him and my sister <3

  16. I don’t live in the EU 😮‍💨 But I loved watching!! I spent two weeks this summer in Japan and I miss it terribly! Thanks for bringing back some memories ❤

  17. I'm Sandra from Sweden, and my highlight from this year is my new job! I have been working as a nurse assistant for 9 years, and because of my anxiety and fear of change I have been too scared to change occupation, but I applied for a job that I wanted and I got it! I start 1st of December, im very proud of myself lol

  18. I'm Leslie from Belgium, and my highlight from this year is that I finnaly managed to get enough money to build a tiny house in my garden for my brother who's severly handicaped and cannot live alone, but dreams to be independant. This way he can feel like he is, while basically still living with me and my mom. He is mentally challenged so he wouldn' know the difference. In his view he lives alone and we are his neighboors and he's so very happy! Also obviously the house is tailored to his special needs which makes everyone's life much easier.

  19. I'm Sarah, from France ! My highlight of the year has been becoming auntie to three wonderful little boys and having the chance to watch them grow up !

  20. Thank you for participating in the surprise giveaway, I really enjoy reading through all your highlights of the year! Subtitles have also now been updated, sorry for the delay ❤

  21. Charlotte from chile. First of all i wanna say i'm so happy to see another fan of Snoopy <3 I was like the only "young adult" on the cinema when the snoopy movie release in 2015 :') And the highlight of this year… the first thing that comes to my mind is my grandma 101 birthday! Last year we had a huge celebration planned for her 100th birthday but she was so sick we had to cancel everything, so this year i was pretty excited to go and see her – she lived in another city, at almost 1000 km – and we could celebrated her – my brothers and sister couldn't make it and that was kinda sad – but we plan to go and see her this summer 🙂 Sorry for my bad english

  22. Thao from Germany 🙂 my highlight this year was moving in with my boyfriend in the beginning of this month. The apartment still looks chaotic but I've always been coming home to a warm meal 🍲

  23. Maria, Spain. My highlight of the year is to bath under a waterfall with my boyfriend while hiking in the Pyrenees. We suddenly found the source of a river and take a dip there. It was a incredibly spontaneous and unique moment with all the mountains around in the middle of nowhere.

  24. Jacky, The Netherlands. Going completely freelance with my own company after recovering from severe brain trauma and having to recover for more than a year 🎉

  25. I'm Aušrinė from Lithuania. My highlight from this year is having next level, wholesome and quality friendships with decent and caring friends. I struggled with friendships for a long time, but this year I really understood what friendship/companionship is. My few but truly amazing friends is my world, 2023 really opened my eyes in this way :)) <3

  26. Astrid, Spain. I love the idea of making ppl share their highlights of the year. If I have to pick one, it would being able to re-choreagraph a contemporary piece with a friend after a previoud experience that had gone very wrong & being able to perform at a festival, on an open space. It made me feel courageous & fulfilled (a second, sillier highlight is finding my dream wedding dress hehe).

  27. Gh from myanmar, ur videos r very heartwarming to watch. I usually watch them before sleep. Luv ur lifestyle & home decor. Sincerely wishing u & ur hubby have health & happiness together in this life

  28. Magdalena, France. My highlight this year was definitely a vacation that my fiancé and I went on in September! 🥰 It was veeeery hot and sweaty but we had so much fun!

  29. Susan and I live in Belgium. My highlight of the year so far has simply been enjoying my family (two daughters of 13 and 10) and getting back into running ❤

  30. Ane, from the Basque Country! The highlight was finally getting the keys to our first house after years of waiting. We are now slowly making it our home 🙂

  31. Amanda, Sweden. My highlight of the year is renovating the kitchen in our house me and my boyfriend bought one year ago. We have made almost everything our self and it feels wonderful to celebrate christmas in our new kitchen.
