Our cover of “Koi” by Hoshino Gen. This arrangement by Patrick Bartley. Recorded in Tokyo, Japan.

==============================

Ever since Pat’s move to Japan, the J-MUSIC Ensemble has had to take an unfortunate hiatus from full-band uploads – HOWEVER, we’re finally back with a new series in the homeland of every single song on this channel! This is the “J-MUSIC One Room” series – right in the heart of Tokyo, Japan! Converting our apartment living room into a temporary recording studio, we’ve achieved a whole new and intimate way to consistently get new songs out to you all (with different instrument combinations, too). We hope you enjoy this new series we’ve cooked up for you!

Tell us what songs you’d like to see us do next!

@PatrickBartleyMusic – Alto Saxophone
Nisa Addina – Violin
Alejandro Espinosa – Acoustic Guitar
@JunaSeritaMusic – Bass
Gai Seki – Cajon, Percussion

  3. One of my best memories back when I was studying japanese is singing this song along with all the other class groups at the end of a festival, so this arrangement really made my day. Amazing stuff as always guys!
