人気アイドルグループ・AKB48が7日、千葉・幕張メッセで『WONDA presents AKB48非売品ライブ』を開催した。アンコールでは、今年6月に卒業した大島優子がサプライズで登場。高橋みなみらメンバーたちが驚くなか、「ヘビーローテーション」など2曲を披露し、会場に駆けつけたファン1万人を歓喜させた。

Yuko's stage presence is undeniable and is huge, sad that she left back then but it was time for a new generation ho sadly not many have lived up to the legacy, fewer still have managed to be near it and none I don't think have surpassed it yet.
Will any surpass the old legends, I doubt it, whatever new ones come they won't surpass Yuko, she along with the old legends were truly one of a kind.

Back in 2013 during the general election I always wondered how sasshi managed to get 14,000 more votes than Yuko (my forever favourite AKB48 person), I was like that shouldn’t be possible even after a scandal because when minigishi minami had the scandal she did worse.
Clearly something went wrong in the voting but maybe sasshi is just that good because she is the only girl in AKB48 to win 3 times in a row, she is unique no doubt.
However Yuko will always be Number 1 for me even if sasshi still bear her, Yuko just has that charm and personality that is hard to match.
