What Speed Should I Use My EFile?

Did you know that you do not need to run your e-file at an extremely high speed to shorten a nail properly I don’t approve of drills running over 20. the only time you need a really hot drill is go between 10 and 20. 15 16 is perfect for shortening a nail fast See that’s pretty fast you want to go a little shorter sometimes the client has to decide a little shorter A little shorter That’s it done fifteen sixteen thousand RPMs is all you need to take off a nail really fast don’t go higher than that

My E-File and Bits are available for both DIY’s and Pro’s! 😀

  1. Thank you, Suzie! I was wondering what speed to use as I was shortening my nails today. I have really only watched your videos since beginning of Pandemic and was inspired to start my "nail journey". Did my first lavender coffin, polygel, with bling and white underside nails today!

  2. I dont try that anymore 😰 when i use the e file to shorten others peoples nails, the drill goes weird in the last second. So ashamed i dont even try it anymore

  3. I would love to see you do the different types of b to show people which ones are good for going around the cuticle and removing excess cuticle for your toes or your fingers that is? 😇🥰💯‼️📺👌🏼Susie gives great content and wonderful facts I always enjoy.

  4. Honestly I think most are inexperienced with drills and use them to high, I believe they think speed equals getting there quicker and with nail drills that’s just not the case. But they need to come to that on their own. Hopefully without hurting anyone

  5. Here that noise? That is caused a drag. It causes the micro motor to be worn out prematurely. Putting that pressure on the bit is also causes chatter. Something that breaks down the product. I’m literally watching and hearing as you are demonstrating

  6. And we don’t use high speeds to remove the product quickly but rather to do it correctly. To prevent numerous problems. You are all over the place while shortening. It doesn’t look controlled. Just try it all max speed. Tell me you don’t have more control.
This is the only procedure is teach to use high speeds. All others aware low speed techniques. I believe the lower speed is better for control. Except for shortening.

  7. I think they stort on 30. I have thin nails and always ask them to turn it down. Its irritating when they display a distaste for my request.

  8. What nail drill do u recommend for beginners? I dont need cheep option, i need nail drill that will do its job correctly and fast and will help me for a long time ✨

  9. I always take off the bulk of the nail that I want to take off, with just a tip cutter… It's gone in 2 seconds and works like a charm 🤷🏻‍♂️

  10. I'm the type of learner who needs to know why? 🤷🏽‍♀️
What is the hazard? What am I avoiding? I need more troubleshooting than just dont do something. 💜💜💜💜

  11. Why do they sell these machines without putting a limit on how high they can go for safety? I’ve had my nails done so many times and after watching this channel I question some of what I thought were the best nail techs. Getting my nails filed and shaved has always been excruciatingly uncomfortable for me. I don’t understand why there isn’t a regulated rule or law to prevent high RPM or simply no setting on the machine that is unsafe.
