Without Hello hello and welcome back to the channel as most of you know I’m Topher and for those of you who don’t know and just randomly decided to click on my video Welcome to the channel I’m Topher thank you for stopping by so we’re here to do a reaction and we’re diving back
Into our dining table we’re diving into episode 8 um I just finished reacting to episode 7 and six and 5 and four and 3 and two and yeah we are continuing at the end of last episode uh minu just ran down the steps and laid one on youa he’s just
Like I’m assuming they didn’t actually show us we just saw the backs of heads but in my head cannon that’s what was happening they were just going cuz that’s how people kiss right I don’t know I’ve been single a very long time so I I I couldn’t tell you but um
We’re going to dive in and just see where this episode takes us okay So okay so uncomfortableness is in the air um as is expected whenever the one person sort of Quasi confesses feelings and and the other person is either not on the same page or is not aware that they’re on the same page so right now um minoru he did something impulsive he
Went and kissed him on the cheek which in these series as far as impulsive Deeds go pretty low on the offensive scale cheat kiss I’m like okay I can live with this that’s fine um and he’s like oh no what did I just do and he ran off so me I would have
Thought the cheek kiss would have been more than enough to convey What feelings minu had for yataka like in my head if someone if we were having this conversation and someone just stopped they ran down the stairs and then they just planted this kiss on my cheek So Soft so delicate
Delicate so just intimate I would be like oh well this person must be feeling some type of way that is just the narrative I would spin in my head um but apparently that that wasn’t enough of a hint so by the time we got Midway through the
Episode and they’re meeting up for lunch or coffee or whatever it was and minu is basically confessing his feelings and he says hey you actually talked to me first um this was a scenario where we met first this that the other which technically in that scenario minu spoke to him first like
Utako was talking to D um but technically speaking it appeared as though minaro spoke to him first but we’ll we’ll let that slide um but they met in the past and then he wasn’t sure if it was him when um the beginning of the series when tan first came up and
Tried to steal his rice ball but then know he’s come to realize that it is him and it’s given him this this I don’t know zest for life again he enjoys life he went through this period when his mom passed where it just this emptiness this sense
Of emptiness and just not really feeling the inspiration of life not really just kind of going through the motions and this time that he spent with utaka over the last couple episodes has really just given him this new new found sense of loving life and he gets excited about the prospect of
Spending time with him what are we going to eat next what are we going to do next this that the other like it’s exciting but he also is aware that there’s a chance that utaka may not feel the same and he didn’t want to tell him this because he
Didn’t want utaka to feel uncomfortable so it’s like after this here hold my hand and after this we’re going to go right back to just being what we were we’re going to go back like nothing’s changed and I don’t want you to feel awkward this that the other and
That I can understand cuz i’ I’ve had that conversation before but for me it was a one-sided Crush where it’s like okay I just need to get this out of my system I need to say this to someone other than myself just so I can you can either hey take me up
On this offer and we can go start crushing on each other or I can move on but you know sitting in that limbo state of what he would he like me would he not like me should I do this blah blah blah it it’s torture and you can stay in that
State for years if not longer so I’ve had that conversation I get it where it’s like this is how I feel but I don’t want things to change between us so after this just don’t if you don’t have any interest don’t worry about it we’ll go back to
The way things work it won’t be easy but it it it can happen it it can happen um but obviously as we’ve seen throughout this series and as this episode progressed after that point it would prove to be very difficult for them to go back to just how things were because um
Minoru likes him and he said the words utaka said the words I can’t I can’t go back to the way things were and I think it’s fairly obvious that he does like him I just think that he was caught off guard by the whole situation and it was
A lot for him to process and he needed his time to process and he probably still needs a little bit more time to process um but I don’t think that he can go back to them just being friends like it was before so both of them are kind
Kind of in the same head space when that in that regards but they’re trying to be respectful of the other person’s feelings um I love I love how aware daddy is and how just supportive he is just the sort of undercover Ally like hey I noticed you
Really like um utaka he’s like what are you talking about I don’t like anybody like hey if utaka is coming over we can we can make a big Hot Pot we put in some crab and everything hey and you could see when um minu is like oh I don’t think
He’s coming and I’m not going to shower he’s like okay something’s going on and then when he came home the next day and he’s you know playing ball with um tan and T’s like when’s he coming over when’s he doing this that the other and he’s like I don’t know he’s probably
Just busy at work dad’s the look on Dad’s face is like okay I can see where this is going I don’t know the full details but my son is not doing too good right now some got to find some way to fix this I appreciate Daddy I appreciate him I appreciate him
Um and then uta’s also got to deal with the whole family thing is he said last episode that he’s planning on probably spending first couple days of the new year at home show face um but now his brother is texting like are you coming home and he’s not responding which I’m
Like B please respond this time at least let them know you’re alive please respond um but yeah I’m interested to see whether or not they’re going to take the family story line any further I feel like there’s still quite a bit more exploration we could do in that regard
But I don’t know if they’re going to go down that path now with only two episodes left but we’ll just have to wait and see anyway I hope you guys enjoyed this reaction if you did don’t forget to like comment subscribe share turn on notifications to be notified
