love the channel u are doing gods work
daigo is so funny man
You guys should listen to LTG, he's good at maintaining calmness.
Good to see Daigo’s sense of humor. I’lol be sure to try that breathing technique the next time I get cooked…
Wise daigo talking about instincts vs rationality. I do believe that the natural response to losing is to get mad. You have to put a lot of thought into not getting mad after a loss, even more if it was a heated battle
video needs to be called
"Daigo turns into Darth Vader"
😂Screw it, I'm doin this.
5:33 what a hearty laugh, now I know what clip to look at when I need anger management
If you still get mad then you haven't lost enough.
From this alone i have accumulated so many DaiGasm pics
If I get hit by JP's reversal one more time I'm gonna need an oxygen tank
格ゲー勢はどんなにキレても瞬間だけで、もうやらん!とか言っても明日にはちゃんとやるよね
Its the beauty of competition, to keep someone's ego in check. Remember, that there will always be someone out there who's better than you. Besides DSP and the Black DSP, be humble! 😎😎
Daigo advice to take a deep breath or just take a quick break from the game if you got angry or super salty is working. If i'm super salty, i usually take a quick drink either mineral water or ice tea to calm down.
Ravi Umehara 🙏😑
Daigo is out here teaching the FGC how to use hamon lol
Daigo is a legend…. he is so funny.
That is exactly why "life coaches" talk fast and loud, to prevent people to understand they arguments, so people have no time to see they talk pure fairytales/lies/bullshit and feel emotional and believe it by mere "I want to believe!".
his name is daigo, and I looked it up and it meant "zen"
Daigo being himself is so pure and hilarious
Daigo is too good for this world! XD
I never realized this but its genius how he points out why fighting games makes people emotional, the split decisions being forced into you multiple times really force you to either control yourself or lose, it really makes even the more calm people not used to that kind of environment to break eventually
Oh boy when you lose points, to a lower rank, man that kills you inside lmao the struggle is real 😅take a deep breath 😮DAIGO FUNNY AF
When Daigo actually angry, he parry all 17 hits super to relieve he's stress
this ossan 😂 sometimes he sprout some real good life advice and the other time he throw them great advice like there is no tomorrow
It hardly qualifies as "attacking his fight stick" but fighting against Nuki is probably the only example you'll see of Daigo hitting his equipment in frustration lol
When Daigo was commentating inbetween matches at RB-Kumite I finally realized who he reminds me of, and this video just confirms it. Yuji Nagato from NJPW. Both are considered one of the greatest of all-time, both share their wisdom, but are a bit goofy at the same time, and they both have similar age-lines and wrinkles(especially around the eyes). Lol.
Daigo talking about losing to Ippatsu in Mahjong spoke to my freaking soul (Mahjong talk starts at around 4:50)
sometimes you get hitted with a big ass combo or a SA for making a mistake but you cant afford to be salty cause the match aint over, thats the hard part.
American FGC insights:
"let's gooooooooo!!!!! nnnnaaaaaaaahhh. yoooooooooo! OD. curly mangos. bruh x 5."
I enjoy SF6, but I do get enfuriated because I have to work 10x as hard to get a win with Manon in my ranks because most of other characters like Ken or Cammy can mindlessly bully me with 100 normals locking me in block
I think losing and winning needs to be in an equilibrium to each other. If I talk about me and my moments of getting mad/pissed/salty at games, they almost always happen when I lose significantly more than I win or if I win significantly more than I lose.
For example, Rainbow Six Siege: Initially, I don't care if I lose or win. What I want is to learn and better myself at the game. When I win, that's a + on that, If I lose, I need to take that as a learning experience to better myself and not do these mistakes anymore, or at least try to minimize their happenings.
BUT…if I lose like 3…4….5…6 rounds in a row, I get salty and stop learning. As soon as I win 1 or 2 rounds again, my moral is restored, and I am back to my normal self again.
Same goes for SF. I can laugh my ass off if some strange stuff happens, or if I lose a close match. I can have genuine fun with losing in a fighting game. BUT, when I get my ass kicked for the whole session I am playing, I start to get salty inside my head, calling stuff stupid, or cheap or what ever. I know that it's just rambling, and I don't truly think that grapplers are cheap, or that JP is cheap, or that Ken is OP and easy mode etc. and as soon as I start to kick some ass, my moral gets back up, and I start to be easier about losing.
So in conclusion, I as a person need to win some to lose without any problems. If the Win/Lose ratio gets out of hand and one side starts to dominate, something in me switches.
Btw. I really mean it, I even get salty when I win too much. If I win too much I start to feel like I know it all, and if I lose to some "random easy mode Ken", I burst out and ask myself how I could lose to shit like that…
Oh man, that mahjong one must have got to him….that's a three deep breath situation right there.
He's like the most sane person in the FGC
I think it’s the opposite for me.
For most normal people it bring out their worst. For the FGC it bring out their best.
I think most people i met in life does not have self evaluation, they are shallow, superficial, always believe they are right. Always use cowardice way to play dirty to get what they want.
But when i first entered FGC 6 years ago, it was different, they are passionate, they are honest, full of respect, has high emotional control compare to normal people, can think things through and being able to self evaluate.
I honestly think fighting games are bringing the best out of the FGC. the one that does not have those quality will get pick out, but the on that stays in FGC?? You r the chosen one, be proud.
honestly if u have this same mentality, theres probably something wrong with you mentally that you should look into, great oppertunity for some personal growth id say
Ive been playing sf for 35 years. I dont get salty anymore. Fighting games are salty because it is 1v1 and is almost entirely intelligence and skill based. When u lose it is entirely because the other person is better and smarter and that hurts your ego massively.
New objective for the summer: learn Japanese so I can watch Daigo streams – dude seems so chill and funny when he’s not in beast mode
daigo's is expensive AF😂
Father advices, father breath, that's really kind and funny.
Sanford Kelly is the personification of FGC salt.
I can point to an early childhood moment when accidentally broke a PSP in a joking outburst of anger.
I never really had console and the first one I had, I broke it within just a couple days of getting it. I was devastated and my parents disappointment was also clear.
Thankfully, we were able to replace it but I think this stuck with me. I just wanna have fun with my friends.
Great clip
