I think Daigo is right. SF 6 Ryu reminds me of SF Alpha 2 / 3 Ryu where he really strong and fun to play.

真波掌撃の差し返しに、まだ誰もやってないのに「発射がいつかわかんないから（空振りを刺すところを狙って微タメしてくる奴がいるかもしれないから）」ってのを想定してるのがウメハラらしいなと思う 通ればヨシじゃなく真面目にゲームを考えている

This version of Ryu is great, but still very basic, compared to all other characters that we will see in SF6… Daigo might eventually go back to Guile, if he is not as stubborn as usual with his character choices😅
As much as we WANT Daigo to play Ryu, i have a feeling he wont. Idk, i juat have this impression that hes not all that interested in him despite how strong he is. Hes more excited to try some other newer characters
Ryu will get nerfed soon. If Ryu is too strong, no one pay attention on others characters and it's not a good sign.
Is basically the same Ryu but buffed by Drive System.

The difference between Ryu and Ken for how fun they are is pretty wide IMO. Hope Ken has some changes on release.
Not surprising at all! In the first Beta I wasn't planning to play Ryu or Ken at all, but they are so much fun and feel so cool to play that I couldn't stop myself lol

one thing i really mis and, well, since there're some many presentation options already in the beta… there should be some option to enable those crazy cartoon funny expressions the chars made in sf4 when they lost a round. they were goooood maaan ahahahah. i want them back, at least if optional.

実を言うとデモ版出るまでスト6嫌いだった
でもウメさんが楽しそうに配信することで初めてよくゲームを見てみたら
グラフィックも凄いしゲーム性もプロが楽しい連呼するくらいで、自分もデモ版でCPUレベル7と対戦したら凄い楽しかった！
I have to agree with Daigo, Ryu is a lot more fun to play in 6 than in SFV, and that's saying a LOT. Considering I haven't played the other characters like I have Ryu ( I don't really care for Luke), I believe the overall game is gonna be a really good experience (I hope). I'm looking forward to checking out Lily, JP, and Dee Jay 👍🏿
Played SF since 2 and never been a Ryu guy. However I decided to try him out first in the 2nd beta and almost immediately was having a blast. Not sure if I'll end up maining him but its good to know I'll have at least one character that I really enjoy in 6.
