  1. when you’re in burnout they can’t jail you into drive impact stun, there has to be a gap or it won’t work. so you can super or (potentially) throw/jump. if you have no super meter AND you’re in burnout yea you’re fucked lol as you should be.

  2. Drive Impact is guaranteed on meaty and after fierce with ryu.
    Unless they have a super.

    No way out without super

    Maybe the only characters that you cant do that to is jp cause he has 1 frame armour. And maybe Grief and Marisa if their armour is the same, possible sim teleport.

    They need to bring back invincibility to all reversals. Like they could add a penalty to it during burnout where reversal DP slows your drive recovery.

  3. The corner is super scary in this game. Marisa is interesting to me since she still has armor at least so it burn out might not be too bad for her

  4. SonicSol has a video where he tested, you cannot jump nor throw between Fierce and DI on burnout. Only super is the answer.
    I personally would like to test when the game drops if Gief spd especially in modern can grab in between Fierce and DI. Jump is 3 frames and on SonicSol video, If you jump between Fierce and DI you get hit airborne. And seeing as how fast gief spd is i wonder if he can spd the DI.

  6. 15:21 daigo didn't mess up the link, solar plexus links to crouch mk only on counter hit, but that range seems too far for a crouching medium punch
    standing lk is probably the correct option there

  7. Personal speaking the reason why people aren't using supers in this game is because for SF4 and 5 you only get 1 super based on your resource.

    Most people from those games will hesitate

    Meanwhile people from SF3, at times we just don't give a sh*t and just waste our supers 😂

  9. See this is why u don’t cash out the drive bar, if it doesn’t kill, because Daigo will just reverse throw u to the wall and stun u and kill

  10. I don't think there's any situation where you cant at least super through someone's drive impact when you're burnt out. The startup is too high and super is frame 1 invul.

  11. Theres some fgc translated clips of daigo reacting to yolo drive impacts with super instantly. You should watch those.

  12. I think DI should cost more its to powerful for just one bar of drive meter. But i say leave it for now i want to see the meta behind it before they patch it… thats even if they patch it

  13. There's some rare options to avoid the drive impact when you're in burnout without meter, back in beta 2 i found Guile could light flashkick to pop above the DI quick enough to avoid it and recover safely but it depended on the setup
