ReiYasuda is a Japanese singer.
She was born in North Carolina, the US in 1993 and moved to Japan at the age of 3.
She was influenced by Hikaru Utada’s songs which Rei’s mother listened to when she was around 10 years old and aimed to become a singer.
She joined the unit “Genki Rockets” in 2006 and debuted with the single “Best of My Love” as a solo singer in 2013.
The single “Ashita Iro” which was released in 2015 was used for a TV drama’s theme song,
and she won New Artist Award for the 57th Japan Record Awards.
Her first album “WILL” and second album “PRISM” took 1st place in iTunes J-POP charts.
She has also been active in the fashion field and working as a DJ on radio.
