Unfortunately, Tsuyoshi dislike black hahaha. He said it makes him feels gloomy.
Tsuyoshi experienced sudden hearing loss in 2017 and because of belated treatment, he got the sequelae. At this point, while not totally deaf, he cannot hear sounds like we do. In his ear, sounds sound like damaged speakers, and he hears sound a semitone lower iirc. A combination of those gives him great disorientation so he prefers to not be able to hear at all from his left ear (the damaged ear is the left one). That is why he literally plug his left ear so it becomes completely void from sound. Because of that condition, he needs to relearn everything so he can sing on the right key, and communicate a lot with stage staffs to make sure he sounds on note. He also finds it difficult to sing and compose ballad, but I guess he is currently trying again. That's probably why THE FIRST TAKE are all ballads.
Tsuyoshi is facing his hearing loss like bulldozer, taking a relatively very short break it was very gutsy. Music is an integral and very precious part of his life so I guess he just doesnt want to lose that.
I really like the wonderful world that his music shows only belongs to his free country. I can't help but join this nationality called Tsutomoto to dance freely.
