The two of them have great bond… Tsuyoshi said their relationship is like a married couple, Koichi being the husband, and Tsuyoshi being the wife. Tsuyoshi first started out trying to be a comedian in the duo, while Koichi tried to be the cool beauty… but later wanted to be like Tsuyoshi. Koichi is quite goofy at times, creating his own fair bit of jokes. They may look active in on-screen, but both of them are introverts, always quiet off-screen.
Koichi is optimistic but Tsuyoshi being the sensitive one, was pessimistic especially from 1999 to 2003 (if not wrong). However Koichi was there to support Tsuyoshi, and thankfully Tsuyoshi pulled through the hardship, and became more optimistic. They are very close, despite always claiming that they do not know each other's residential address, contact numbers.
They are always present to support each other. This is what I appreciate from this duo.
Though they do not talk much to each other, they had a lot of things to share during the MC session in their concerts, causing the fans to laugh.
Both are very accommodating towards each other, no quarrel despite being together for 31 years. The two are very different in terms of character, interest etc, but they learned to accept the differences, willing to give in to each other, being patient to each other.
Hope you will be able to learn more of them progressively.
