歌手で俳優の三宅健が9年にわたって出演してきたEテレ『NHK みんなの手話』ナ ビゲーターを卒業し、4月からSnow Manの佐久間大介にバトンタッチすることが決定した。あわせて放送日も、時間帯も毎週金曜の午前11時30分に、お引越しする。
都会の片隅にある小さなカフェ「みんなの手話」。ろう者の店主（森田明）、店員（那須映里）お客さんたちの会話を見ながら、手話やろう者の文化を楽しく学べるお店。カフェには、 手話を学習する人を応援する看板ドラゴン・シュドラ（声・黒柳徹子）も住み着いている。 番組初の公開収録（2月11日実施）「公開収録 出張カフェ『みんなの手話』 in 東京」の模様が、3月15日の午後10時30分（21日午後3時から再放送）に放送。三宅から卒業メッセージも伝える。
