I only watched Maison Ikkoku and Kimagure Orange Road, to my greatest pleasure, and I consider them to this day the absolute best Japanese anime! If the the other two are in the same style I would love to watch them but I do not know their names. Can anyone please help and tell me the names (I can't read japanese)? I would also say that the 3rd opening for Kimagure Orange Road is way better.
So these are the voice actresses of the main heroines singing main themes from their respective anime? Amazing! I didn't even know Hidaka Noriko covered the main theme for Touch.
For those in the unknown, Hidaka Noriko is the voice actress for Akane Tendo from Ranma 1/2 and Kikyo from Inuyasha. Before those 2 roles she voiced Minami Asakura from Touch. Minami was basically one of the faces of 80's anime girls alongside Kyoko Otonashi (Sumi Shimamoto), Madoka Ayukawa (Hiromi Tsuru, RIP) and of course, Lum (Fumi Hirano), all of whom are featured in this video. All of them had legendary voice actresses playing them. Unfortunately, most of these characters aren't very well-recognized in English speaking communities of today, especially Minami, who's one of my favourite heroines of all time. All the female anime characters of today owe something to at least one of these 4 characters from the past. They were foundational. Lum especially is often cited as the original waifu. Even if you didn’t know her it's possible you've seen her somewhere before as an easter egg or a reference.

元々日髙のり子は松田聖子や河合奈保子と同期のアイドル歌手で元歌の岩崎良美も同期。
半年位前に台湾版のめぞんのDVD-BOXヤフオクで買ったんでたまに観てるがやっぱりメチャメチャ懐かしい
ちょうどアニメ放映してた頃作中の五代君と同年齢だったから余計思い入れ有るわ
当時は五代君を応援する気分で観てたが今オッサンの視点で観ると結構腹立つ(笑)
