It seems before this song started, Mie had some time to change her outfit… That being said, here is the next performance I remastered to 4K from Mie’s “Pink Lady Night” event on June 25, 2010… An interesting, almost samba-esque take on Pink Lady’s 3rd Single, Carmen ’77. I really liked the intro with the drums… and of course Mie did a fantastic job too, that wink of hers is guaranteed to make you smile.
For those who don’t know, Pink Lady Night is essentially a special event held by Mie every year (usually a few times) at the BLUES ALLEY JAPAN café where she sings some interestingly well crafted and reimagined Pink Lady singles, along with her equally talented accompanying band by her side!
