Click through to see the cast and characters confirmed for Marvel’s upcoming Eternals movie – due out November 6, 2020.

ANGELINA JOLIE as THENA

Jolie is playing scholar and warrior Thena, who’s basically The Eternals’ answer to the Greek goddess Athena. In fact, in the movie it could be that the Eternals ARE the beings who humans saw as Greek gods, whereas in the comics they’re separate entities, and the Eternals started out as the official representatives of Greek gods on Earth.

RICHARD MADDEN as IKARIS

Game of Thrones’ Madden will portray the multi-talented, immensely powerful Ikaris. As one of the most prominent Eternals, Ikaris often serves as the leader of his people and an envoy to the outside world. Ikaris’ true name is unknown. He adopted his current name in tribute to his deceased son Icarus, a boy who inspired the doomed mythological hero.

KUMAIL NANJIANI as KINGO SUNEN

Nanjiani, known for his stand-up act and comedic roles up until now, will play Kingo – an Eternal from a small mountainous village in 16th century Japan who, in the comics anyway, has parlayed his Samurai skills into a career as a movie star.

SALMA HAYEK as AJAK

Hayek is the mighty Ajak, a centuries-old champion who humans have previously mistaken for the Aztec deity Quetzalcoatl.

BRIAN TYREE HENRY as PHASTOS

Henry (Atlanta, Spider-Man: Into the Multiverse) has landed the role of Phastos, an ambivalent weapon-smith who ancient humans once connected to Mount Olympus’ Hephaestus.

LAUREN RIDLOFF as MAKKARI

The Walking Dead’s Ridloff will be playing the first deaf superhero in the MCU. Makkari is a speedster engineer in the comics who early humans thought was the Olympian god Hermes.

LIA MCHUGH as SPRITE

McHugh will play Sprite, the impish prankster Eternal who physically resembles a child and is often admonished for overly playful behavior.

DON LEE as GILGAMESH

South Korean actor Ma Dong-seok (Train to Busan) – aka Don Lee – has joined the cast as Gilgamesh – aka The Forgotten One. Gilgamesh is the physically strongest Eternal, once shunned by the other Eternals.

RUMORED: GEMMA CHAN and BARRY KEOGHAN

Chan (who already appeared in the MCU as Minn-Erva in Captain Marvel) and Keoghan (Chernobyl) are reportedly in talks to join the film. Their actual roles are unknown right now though Chan seems like a perfect fit for Sersei, a powerful Eternal who can manipulate matter and inspired the Greek mythological character Circe thanks to her encounters with ancient hero Odysseus.
