日本サッカー協会（JFA）は2日、サッカー日本代表「SAMURAI BLUE」の歩みを描いたドキュメンタリー映画『ONE CREATURE 無数の個性、ひとつの生きもの。』を、6月5日（金）より全国230館以上で公開すると発表した。
FIFAワールドカップ2026を目前に控えたタイミングで、日本代表の進化の軌跡を描く作品となる。
この作品は、2022年のカタール大会以降から本大会直前までを対象に、森保一監督のもとで成長を続けるチームの姿を追ったもの。ドイツやスペインを撃破しながらもベスト8に届かなかった前回大会の悔しさを出発点に、「ワールドカップ優勝」という新たな目標を掲げて再始動した日本代表が、戦術面の強化や選手間の競争、葛藤を経て、ひとつのチームへと成熟していく過程が描かれている。
AFCアジアカップやアジア予選、日々のトレーニング、さらにはピッチ外の様子まで密着し、チームが“ひとつの生き物”のように進化していく姿を浮き彫りにする。
公開された予告映像では、森保監督が選手に檄を飛ばすシーンや、個々の選手が自らの意思をぶつけ合いながら成長していく姿が収められており、チームとしての結束と変化のダイナミズムが印象的に描かれる。またポスタービジュアルでは、選手のプレーデータが連なり一体化していく様子が表現され、「無数の個性」が結びついていくコンセプトを視覚的に示している。

テーマ曲には、ウカスカジーの『勝利の笑みを 君と 〜日本サッカーのために〜』を採用。桜井和寿とGAKU-MCによる同曲は、日本代表応援ソングとして知られ、作品の世界観をさらに高める。
約3カ月後に迫る本大会に向け、作品は単なる記録映像にとどまらず、日本代表の現在地と可能性を提示し、国民的な期待と一体感を高める役割も担う。まさにワールドカップ前に必見の作品として位置付けられている。
