【PROFILE】
2013年1月結成。ROCK、JAZZ、HIP HOPなどブラックミュージックにインスパイアされたSuchmos。メンバー全員神奈川育ち。Vo.YONCEは湘南・茅ヶ崎生まれ、レペゼン茅ヶ崎。都内ライブハウス、神奈川・湘南のイベントを中心に活動。バンド名の由来は、スキャットのパイオニア、ルイ・アームストロングの愛称サッチモからパイオニアとなるべく引用。YONCE(Vo)、TAIKING(Gt)、HSU(Ba)、TAIHEI(Key)、Kaiki Ohara(Dj)、OK(Dr)。
2021年2月「修行の時期を迎えるため」バンドの活動の一時休止を発表。
2025年6月21日(土)、22日(日)に横浜アリーナでのワンマンライブ『Suchmos「The Blow Your Mind 2025」』を開催。
2025年7月2日(水)に約6年ぶりのリリース作品となるNEW EP「Sunburst」をリリース。
2025年10月29日より国内と海外の13都市を巡るアジアツアー「Suchmos Asia Tour Sunburst 2025」が開始。
