wwd_jp Dior will open its concept store, the “Dior Bamboo Pavilion,” in Daikanyama, Tokyo on February 12th.

The exterior is a reinterpretation of the facade of its Paris flagship store, “30 Montaigne,” using gold-dyed bamboo.

The store will offer men’s and women’s ready-to-wear by Creative Director Jonathan Anderson, as well as leather goods, shoes, fine jewelry, and even custom-made rooms.

In addition, creations symbolizing the Maison, such as the “Bar” suit and “Junon” dress, will also be on display.

The store’s 1,800-square-meter grounds will feature a Zen-inspired garden designed by plant hunter Seijun Nishihata and a green oasis within the boutique created by floral artist Makoto Azuma.

The attached Cafe Dior will offer an exclusive menu created by Anne-Sophie Pic.

We interviewed Tomohisa Yamashita, who visited the store ahead of the opening.

外観はパリの本店「30 モンテーニュ」のファサードをゴール ドに染め上げたバンブーで再解釈。

店内ではクリエイティブディレクターのジョナサン・アン ダーソンによるメンズおよびウィメンズのプレタポルテをは じめ、レザーグッズ、シューズ、ファインジュエリー、オー ダーメードルームまで完備しています。

さらに、“バー”スーツや“ジュノン”ドレスなど、メゾンを象 徴するクリエイションも展示。

1800平方メートルを超える敷地には、プラントハンターの 西畠清順による禅をコンセプトにした庭園や、フラワーアー ティストの東信が手掛けたブティック内の緑のオアシスが広 がります。

併設の”カフェ ディオール”では、アンヌ=ソフィー・ピック が考案したエクスクルーシブなメニューを提供します。
