Roki Sasaki tosses ANOTHER dominant inning out of the bullpen! (Hits 100 MPH AGAIN!) | 佐々木朗希ハイライト

[Music] Broki Sasaki returned to the major leagues on Wednesday in Arizona out of the bullpen. His first outing since May 9th. A scoreless inning with two strikeouts on just 13 pitches. So what does he have in store for an encore? >> His first pitch tonight fouled back by JP Crawford. Strike one. Crawford one for two tonight. Number eight hitter followed by Young and then the top of the order a Rosarena. Dodgers up three to one. 0 and2. Here’s the splitter. He’s got the fast ball and kick up to 100 miles an hour and this is just going to absolutely disappear. I mean, look at the lack of spin. Almost looks like a knuckle ball way he holds that thing. late movement. >> Grounded weakly to the left side. Tough play, but Kik makes it. He was playing deep in the hole against the lefty. Crawford goes to his right, throws across his body for the first out. We’ve seen so many infield hits just kind of weakly hit and then get down the line, get on base. Kik Hernandez having to come a long ways. Look at where he’s playing. Basically shortstop going all the way 56 hole across his body made that play look a whole lot easier than it really is. Helps out Roki a ton too. Getting out. That outing from Sasaki, it was so exciting to so many people. The fact that he was even pitching in that situation was a surprise. But to then see him execute the way he did, Jess. >> And I think for once in his career, at least here in a Dodger uniform, the expectation was low. Wasn’t a a big expectation to come in and absolutely dominate. >> Fly to left, slicing toward the line. Confoto runs out of room as a drops foul. That’s strike two. >> Obviously, that was expectation for him starting the year. Just a ton of pressure. Knew the stuff was there. I thought, okay, this guy’s going to absolutely dominate. Could not coming on the strike zone. And a lot of that was more mental than anything. Him spending the last time, yes, on the injured list, but also working on mechanics, mentality, and he came in there was very low expectation. He exceeded everything. Definitely a different role for him. Something they talked about too is is not having the whole entire day to have to think about it. I mean, warmed up for maybe seven minutes in the bullpen. Just went out there and did his thing >> on a one-two. Sasaki strikes him out with a 100. [Applause] >> See that look from Cole Young after 100 miles an hour swing and miss. I mean, just dotted. And then he looks at Roki like, “Where did that just come from?” >> That’s the thing, right, Jess? >> Look at that look. >> Like really? >> Now the lineup turns over. >> Triple digits at the top of the zone. Strike one on Rosarena. That’s where he was trying to live when he was starting the year. Fast ball up. He really wasn’t fooling anybody. Now you got it working down the play off the fork. Fly ball left field hit pretty well. This ball’s got carried. It’s off the top of the wall. A Rosena rounding first. The throw from Confoto is wide. And so A Rosena gets into scoring position with two outs. >> To your point, Steve, I mean, literally the fact that this ball 100 miles an hour at the top of the zone instead of the bottom, Randy Rosen just misses a home run by maybe a foot and a half off the top of the wall. He watches it a bit too, which is why he should have been thrown out at second base. Michael Korto plays this off the wall, but instead does not make a good throw to second base. Allows Randy to get there, but he should have been hosed for the last out of the inning. >> And that’s a big hit, not only to get into scoring position, but to bring Cal Raleigh to the plate as the tying run. Dodgers three, Mariners one. Bottom of the seventh, two outs and a runner on. fans finally woke up. Sold out packed crowd. They’re all on their feet. Get some swinging 0 and two. [Applause] Chance of MVP have become louder and louder as the season has gone along for Cal Raleigh. [Applause] Here comes the O2. Got him. Swinging. [Applause] Sasaki sizzles again out of the bullpin. >> Comes back with the splitter to get the biggest hitter in this Mariner lineup for out number three.

Roki Sasaki picks up another pair of strikeouts in a scoreless inning of relief in the bottom of the 7th against the Mariners.
