I saw her in 2015 choopin competition. even she made mistake in the waltz. I feel she's playing got better than 2015. I hope she is going to be pass 1round and watch her 2round again
Beautiful playing, melodic and unforced. I especially love her reading of the Ballade – slow, wistful, languid and/or melancholic but never losing its precision and ambience. Bravo! 🌹🌹
The sound was great and the costumes were amazing!
Bravo!
Great performance
I've found a great way to see if a pianist is rhythmically sound is to set the playback to different speeds. If the construction is sound, it will hold up when you speed it up or slow it down.
ABSOLUTELY delicious performances by ARISA ONODA ♥♥♥♥
Good ballad
Nice, really enjoyed your playing. Hope you'll make it to the finals.
Beautiful performance — one of the very few artists capable of drawing a truly Chopin-esque sound out of this Steinway. In my opinion, only a few contestants in this year’s competition managed to play with such passion. It’s a pity about that slip in the Waltz — it probably cost her a place in the second round. All in all, one of the finest pianists of the young generation. Keep it up — in four years, at least top ten (mark my words, take a screenshot! 😊).
Greetings from Poland! 🇵🇱
Brava! Her piano drifts in quiet light, each phrase unfolding like a breath in still air — serene, fluid, and deeply felt. Yet in the Ballade in G minor, that serenity finds its strength, rising with quiet determination, luminous and unbroken.

I am totally disapointed, we won't hear more from ARIS ONODA in the next rounds. This was a great opportunity for more beautiful interpretations 👋🤩. As said, many decisions were subjective…
The Ballade in G minor, Op. 23, is my favorite piece of music of all time, and I've watched hundreds of versions on YouTube. But your performance was truly special. From the first notes, it was so captivating and gripping that I couldn't tear my eyes and ears away from the screen. The whole piece felt like it lasted only a few seconds. It's amazing how many deep emotions you conveyed in those ten minutes. I will be coming back to this interpretation many times.
