［ロサンゼルス １４日 ロイター］ – 米テレビ界の最高の栄誉とされる第７７回エミー賞の授賞式が１４日、米ロサンゼルスで開催され、作品賞はドラマ部門が救急救命室（ＥＲ）を描いた「ザ・ピット／ピッツバーグ救急医療室」が、コメディ部門は米映画業界を舞台にした「ザ・スタジオ」が受賞した。
ザ・ピットは、最多ノミネートを獲得した職場ドラマ「セヴェランス」を抑えての受賞となった。主演のノア・ワイルは、初のエミー賞主演男優賞を獲得した。
ザ・スタジオの主演で共同制作者のセス・ローゲンも、初の主演男優賞を受賞した。セスはトロフィーを手にし「あまりの嬉しさにどぎまぎしているよ」と語った。
主演女優賞は、ドラマ部門がセヴェランスのブリット・ロウワー、コメディ部門は深夜番組を運営するネットワークと衝突するコメディアンの物語「Ｈａｃｋｓ」のジーン・スマートが受賞した。
