Dvok~Chillingコレクションを使ったシンプルだけど美しい秋のネイルアート

So, these three colors were giving me some fun pastel vibes for doing fall nail art. We’ve got DM 46, 47, and 51. Kind of like a reddish tone, a gold bronze orangey tone, and of course, the greenish one. Hey, I’m really excited for this one. Today, I’m looking at the DevO Chilling Collection, and I am excited. This is giving me some fall vibes and we are in that season right now. So, inside we’ve got this beautiful color card that we can put our polishes on. It also comes with a bar magnet and of course your little stand for your color card and our bottles. We’ve got a 10piece collection here. And I’m just going to pull all of this out and do a swatch for you. As you can see, their packaging is really good. If you’re not familiar with DevO, they’ve got some really heavyduty boxes. Make sure it keeps it nice and safe and it’s really good for holding on to your polishes if need be. So, let me get this all emptied out and we’ll get right into swatching. So, this is a set of really beautiful magnetic polishes. We’ve got numbers DM42 through to DM51. They’re a 10 g bottle. And the difference with these magnetic polishes is it is a gold champagne colored magnet as opposed to a typical silver. So I’m really excited to see what they look like when they’re swatched and how they react because they are just gorgeous looking. So here we have DM42. It’s a very gold tone. Now, my guess was that these were going to be quite translucent, and it would appear that I’m right. They make me think of the white knight collection in that sense where they’re almost completely sheer, but very beautiful. And I do not know what’s going to happen when I remove the color like I usually do. And yeah, there’s pretty much no color. So, I’m not sure what I should do about that for swatching. Let me take a peek and see. So, I usually do two coats for my magnetic polishes. And I like to remove the magnet on the first go and then just have the translucent jelly color there and then go in with the magnet. But these ones just seem to remove pretty much almost all color. So, there’s not really much of a base in there to leave for color saturation. So, instead, I’m going to go in and just do one coat on these because going in with a second one doesn’t really feel like it’s going to make that much of a difference. I kind of tested it with like a darker one like the the green and the blue and that kind of worked, but any of these lighter ones, it just really there was nothing there. The the the syrup is almost entirely clear, so it didn’t make sense. So, we’re going to do these just magnetic. And that magnet like it’s beautiful. They just have a super sheer base jelly to them. So, that’s the type of polish they are. So, as usual, I’m going to go in with my flower look. And that just helps show me how the magnets react and what it leaves behind. And you can see like it leaves behind clear pretty much. There’s no jelly color in there. So, beautiful magnet reaction, but the translucent jelly color left behind is pretty much non-existent. Here we have DM43. It’s a yellowower gold. And we’ve certainly got much quicker swatching when I only have to do one coat on each instead of two. I do like the formula. It’s nice and thin. It distributes really easily. [Music] [Music] Here we have DM44. This is coming up kind of bronze on camera, but it’s just leaning a little peachier. bit peachier toned. Yeah, I feel like this kind of has an orangey peachy tone. Here we have DM45 and it’s starting to lean into the like peachy pink. This one is actually quite pretty. And these all feel very nude to me, like very nude toned. They’d make great bases for those that really like to stick to their nude colors, but just want a little something for extra pizzazz. DM46. And this one is feeling kind of really rose gold look. It’s coming up really brassy on the camera, but it’s got a pinker rose gold tone to it. Not in the camera. This one might be my favorite so far. I don’t know. I feel like I haven’t decided whether I’m quite sold on these super super sheer cat eyes. They just I feel like they take a little bit more imagination of like how and where you’re using them cuz it can’t be like the full color. Well, it could. It’s just that they’re so sheer underneath. Here’s [Music] DM47. This one is much pinker. This is getting a little bit like brighter. This one is really quite pretty. Feels like has a little bit more color in the syrup, but still super sheer. Yeah, this one you can see a hint of color in the syrup jelly more so than the other ones. DM48. This is a really pretty like a lilac color. Really nice light purple. [Music] That cool magnet is so strong. This is DM49 and it’s really fascinating color. It’s like a deep gray purpley color. Like it’s really cool. This one I find really neat. Sorry, I keep saying gold magnet, but no, it’s champagne. It’s supposed to be. It’s just more gold than silver. This is such a neat color. This one, it’s a smoky gray purple. I think this one’s my favorite so far. Yeah, it’s really pretty. DM50 is a blue. Pretty pretty blue. This is quite nice. DM51 is a beautiful turquoise. I love this one. Of course, that’s just gorgeous. Oh, this one’s beautiful. I like this. I like this very much. I think this would be beautiful for mermaids. Feels very aerialesque. I’m feeling very under the sea right now. It’s really nice. And here we have them, guys. They’re all finished and top coated. As usual, I’ve done a matte at the base and a glossy to the tip. And they’re really lovely, but like I’ve got to be honest, like I struggle with how sheer they are, like how super super sheer they are because I find it hard in my head to think of like what I would be doing with them. The same as I was thinking with the White Knight collection. And like they’re beautiful. They have beautiful glittery look. And it’s just that you’ve got to get creative. I feel like when you’re going to be using them, there’s just not a lot of color in there. There’s so much of that champagne magnet. It looks stunning and beautiful. But the base gel is so so sheer, so transparent that for my brain, I look at them and go, I don’t know how to use these. So, I’d love to see what you guys are doing with them. Anybody who’s got any of these colors or this collection, what are you doing with them? Like, how are you using them? I I could see them like on a base with with maybe gems. And they’re just so sheer. They’re just so sheer that I feel like I’ll be seeing my nail underneath them. And I don’t know. I had a really cool art idea that I thought I was going to try with them. I still am. I’ll just put like a base under them or something. I’m just not sure if it’s going to work out the way I thought because they are so much more transparent than I thought they were going to be. So, I’m kind of on the fence about these ones just straight out of the box. Like, I haven’t had a chance to play with them and come up with any ideas or use them. So, hopefully I’m wrong and right following this you’re going to see some amazing art ideas that I came up with. But until that works, I’m kind of at a loss. I don’t know. They’re super pretty, though. They are the prettiest. And so, if you know how to use this type of super super sheer look, then you’re going to have a blast with them. They’re absolutely gorgeous looking. They’re just super see-through and super super soft and pale. Like, there they are on white. That’s really pretty. Really pretty on the white. But to me then that says, “Oh, got to put down a white background first.” Like a white base to be able to use them. So, I don’t know. Really fascinating and different and unique though, that’s for sure. And the colors are gorgeous. Gosh, I want to see guys. I if anybody has anything that they’ve done with these, can you like post them on my community posty tab thingy? Like post pictures. I want to see what people are doing with these cuz I don’t know if I’ve really seen much being done with them, especially if you’re not putting them over a white or over a black or over something. So, these three colors were giving me some fun pastel vibes. We’ve got DM 46, 47, and 51. kind of like a reddish tone, a gold, bronze, orangey tone, and of course the greenish ones. So, I came up with a cute and simple fall design idea for these. And I’ve just taken a white syrup gel, milk gel, whatever you want to call it. And I’m doing a double coat over a clear nail just to like give it a little bit of undies under there because these colors are so super sheer that you see through them so easily that the color doesn’t really pop that much. So, this will just give it a little something underneath it to give it a little extra oomph for that color. Now that we have a bit of a white base down, and you could always go in with a like standard white. Doesn’t have to be translucent the way I did it, but I kind of like that a little better. And I’m just going to drop these on in sporadic little spots as dots. No real rhyme or reason. Trying not to go too too heavy so I don’t have a ton of polish that I’ve got to smoosh off of it, but heavy enough that they’ll kind of blend well into each other. I’m just doing my best not to touch the other color so I don’t contaminate my brush. And if I do touch it onto anything, then I’m just going to like clean some of it off on the edge there. You could also use a piece of uh wipe. And I did come up with three different versions of this design that I figured I’d show you cuz they’re all a little bit unique and fun and I was really liking it. All right, now that I feel like I have a decent amount of polish on there, I’m just going to go in with an ombre brush. Doesn’t have to be ombre, though. can be any kind of like a flatter brush. And I’m just going to kind of blend them together so that there’s no gaps. I don’t want to completely mix them into each other like swiping because I want to keep that color difference, but I just don’t want any gaps in there. So, just kind of blending into each other just on the edges. And you may find that your gaps are a little too big and you might need to add a little more here and there. And I found that this polish does self-level really nicely. So you can always just give it a minute and let them kind of like smoosh into each other. So that’s pretty leveled. There’s a little spot right here that didn’t. And now because you went so heavy on the polish, last thing you’re going to want to do is just take a check on your sides to make sure that you don’t have like big pooling on the edges. And if there is lots of pooling on the edges, just like grab that edge and like give it a little clean off there so there isn’t quite as much polish pooling on your edge. You can see a little bit of it. See it pooling a little bit on the edge there. So I’m just going to take a smidge of this away just so I don’t get puffy blown out sides. And then I should be pretty good. And I’ll put that into cure. Oh, no. Wait, wait, wait, wait. It’s not good yet. Not good yet. Don’t forget to grab your magnet. This is all beautifully magnetized. And bring that magnet up. And it doesn’t have to be perfectly level at this point. like I have some higher and lower spots from it. But seeing as how we’re going over it with a stamp and such and top like a matte coat, then no biggie. As long as it’s somewhat level, you’re good to go. So, we’re all cured now. We’re going to go in there with a matte top coat. I got my DevOp Zero mat here. And we just need a matte surface to work over so that we can later do some isolated chrome with our stamping. Now, there’s our perfectly matte nail. It looks really cool like that, actually, just like itself. But, we’re going to take it another step further, and we’re going to go in with some chrome. So, I’ve got a really cool stamping plate here. It’s a reverse leaf image, and I’ve got a sticky stamping polish. Now, as always with stamping, we’re going to have to work quickly. And what this sticky stamping polish does is it allows me to lay over it with chrome with it sticking really well. go. And we’re still working quickly. So, I’ve got my beautiful image there. And here I’ve got my chrome and my eyeshadow applicator. And I’m just going in there and rubbing all that chrome in over the sticky stamping polish. This one here that I’m using is called Copper Mule from Luxa Polish. It’s beautiful. has a really cool dual shift of like green, yellow, orange, red flash. It’s neat, very coppery. Okay, so brandish that in really well. Then of course, my last step is always to take a microfiber cloth, and that does a really good job of removing any leftover chrome on the nail, as well as really rubbing in so you get that super beautiful glossy look from your chrome. So, this is looking quite stunning. Let’s go in it. Let’s go over it with a top coat. This is my top coat for doing over chromes and pigments. Now, typically, you would want to go in with a base just to help seal that chrome in there so that you don’t get chipping and such, but I’m not wearing this. It’s a sample, so I’m just top coating it to show you what it’s going to look like. Look at that. Okay, let’s cure that. And I’ve cleaned off my plate to do it again. So, I have two other cool samples to show you. Using the same image, but this one’s going to look really different. Well, all three of them look really different, really. So, this time I’m going in with this like duo chrome powder. Oh, yeah. I guess the other one wasn’t duo chrome as well. It’s just not a like uh clear looking one. This one is a blank blank chrome. I think it’s the GU Sunset. It’s just like incredible. It’s one of my favorites. I use it a lot. This one’s like flaming red. It’s so cool. I’ll try and get a better look at it in a minute. Change the lighting or something. Put that one into cure. So, this last one, I’m using the same chrome, but I’m going to be doing it on a white base, and that is going to make it look so much different. And I’m again going in with a sticky stamping polish, but this can be done with a typical um stamping polish. You’ll just it won’t be quite as easy as it will be using the sticky ones. Unfortunately, they do make the job that much easier. This one is my favorite or this look is my favorite. It really adds to that pastel um leafy vibe look. And you can see how super blue the effect is. But when the light changes, it picks up red there. Look at that. Or red. Super cool red flash. But when the lights on it, it’s blue. So neat. Chromes are so neat and so much fun, guys. I just can never say enough about chromes. So yummy. And there we have it. Same stamping design, same three colors with the chilling magnet polishes, and three very different looks. I hope you guys enjoyed those really pretty designs and seeing how easy they were. You can do so many cool things with negative space stamping when you’re using magnetic polishes and chromes. Like they just turn out really cool. Well, thank you so much for being here and watching this video. I always appreciate it. I hope you enjoyed it and I can’t wait to hear your comments about what you think of these polishes and if you have them already, any of them, and and what you’re doing with them, cuz they’re really different to me. So, thanks again and of course, until next time, don’t forget to love your nails. Bye. [Music]

  1. The first thing that comes to mind with a collection like this is the 3D jewelry nails that are trending now with the isolated chrome. I have a similar video posted on my channel of what I’m talking about. I don’t have this collection but I hope my video helps.

  2. Hi! New sub. DM45 and DM46 are actually changing my mind on peachy colours, I normally don’t like them but wow! And oh wow! You just did DM47 and I’m in love.
Update, I’m in love from DM45 on. lol
I think I’d pick a similar base colour in a more opaque colour to use these.
