この曲、僕が大学一回生の時、声楽の先生（自分の師匠じゃなかったけどある程度知っていた先生）が脳腫瘍で56歳で亡くなって、そのお葬式の日の合唱の授業で歌ったの覚えてる。。。

The melody is very emotionally moved because like in your post stated also "Danny boy" with the very sorrow lyrics…. so sad that it fits into nowadays world full of wars, lots of people die from unnecessary human cruelty. I hope this song brings heal to the broken hearts, the wounded souls, bring peace to the death, bring peace to our future world. Let God do the work, music mellows our hearts. Eimi ! You do extremely well as the timely messenger to the peace of this ruthless world.❤

この曲は私には＜演奏家の音楽性＞がわかりやすい曲だと感じています。Kさんのおっしゃる通りに音楽創りに意識した演奏に感じました。オクターブ上がっていくバイオリンの歌いが聴きどころと思っていましたが、和久井さんのフィナーレが素晴らしかったです。何十年も前に聴いたスメタナ弦楽四重奏団がベートーベン後期四重奏曲演奏を終えたときに感じた＜作曲家ベートーベン＞。和久井さんが「死の舞踏」フィナーレと同じく、＜作曲家＞に心を馳せているのかと感じました💖

クライスラーはいいですね。伝記のようなものを読んでも心惹かれるところがある人柄のようですし、今年はクライスラー・イヤー。もちろんアイルランド独特の哀愁(それを映すようなセーターなどの控え目な色合いにも昔から親しみと愛着を感じてきました)あってのことでもあるのでしょうが、時期的な意味でもまた、オーストリアからのご配信にぴったり。プレスリーはロックンロールの王様ですので速く激しいのも魅力的ですが、こんなしっとりとした曲を歌っているのが特に好きで、今でも時折懐かしく聞きます。そんな胸が熱くなるような曲の感じ、今ちょっと感傷的な気分になりながらお聴きしています。クライスラー編曲のリクスキー＝コルサコフ『シェラザード』の楽譜なども持っています。またいつか機会がありましたら、こんなのも。
