Hello, it’s Mariko 😊 Today’s video is based on the theme “What should I wear in my 40s?” and shows me how to mix and match summer clothes with a bit of autumn in mind . Although it’s still hot, I tried to put together some outfits using affordable items I have on hand with a bit of autumn in mind . As always, I’m mixing and matching simple clothes, so I hope that those who watch this video will think “Oh, I have similar items too!” and enjoy the outfits 😊 Some of the items I introduce are currently on sale, and I also introduce each item at the end of the video, so please watch until the end if you’d like 🤭 Now, let’s get started! For my first outfit, I will be using Uniqlo’s “PEACE FOR ALL” photo print T-shirt. This T-shirt was designed with wishes for peace in mind by famous people who share the idea of “taking action in the hope of world peace,” and it appears that all profits from the shirt will be donated to an international organization. The belt I’m matching it with is also Uniqlo’s “Vintage Belt,” and the pants are “Belted Wide Pants” from “GU.” For accessories, I love a traditional style, so I’ll go with the “Crown Panto Sunglasses” that I recently purchased from “GU. ” The bag is “TOPKAPI,” and the shoes are traditional shoes from “Odette e Odile.” This combination of the two has become an essential part of my “fashion videos,” and they appear quite frequently. Lol By the way, this T-shirt is unisex, so even though it’s short-sleeved, the sleeves are a little long, making it a nice fit for summer and autumn . I also really like the simple design of the photo T-shirt, which can be easily paired with jackets like this one, as autumn approaches. 😊 I chose a photo T-shirt with a pink hue to go with my navy jacket. 😊 (I love the navy x pink combination. 🤭) I’m planning to enjoy end-of-summer fashion like this by buying more summer items that I can continue using next season. 🤭 By the way, this video was filmed right in the middle of Obon, the height of summer! So, for the summer, I paired it with a straw hat like this to create a “summer look.” 😊 For the second outfit, I’m going to wear the UNIQLO T-shirt from earlier in a casual style. 👖 I ‘m pairing it with MUJI’s denim barrel pants. I saw them at the MUJI exhibition the other day and they looked so cute! I thought to myself, and ended up buying it later~🤭 I’m pairing it with a cap from MUJI that I bought a while ago and New Balance sneakers. Recently, I’ve been into hoop earrings to go with my cap, so I’ll be matching those too🤭 I wanted a casual outfit, so I paired it with a canvas bag. I chose black denim and beige cap and sneakers to give it a slightly autumnal feel. To tone down the overall color a bit, I draped a shirt I have in an autumnal color over my shoulders. The only autumn-colored shirt I have at home is a used Marimekko shirt that I bought on a trip to Finland, so I draped that over my shoulders and combined the look👔 The third outfit is also unisex, and this one is from UNIQLO. It’s a “broad oversized shirt” from UNIQLO C, and like the T-shirt above, it’s unisex, so the sleeves are long and perfect for the coming season. I bought it in navy, but it also comes in beige and other colors, and both look easy to wear. I’m also pairing this outfit with a large green scarf I bought from SMELLY. I’m not usually the type to wear scarves that often, but when I saw this scarf online I thought it was so cute!😍 and bought it. I ‘m not particularly particular about how I wrap it, I just wrap it in half, drape it over my shoulders, and tie it in front.🤭 Thanks to the unisex size , I was able to create an outfit with a slightly autumnal feel just by wrapping the shirt with slightly longer sleeves and the scarf around my shoulders, which has a slightly autumnal feel.✨ I also like wearing glasses, so I’ll match them with glasses. I also chose orange nail polish to enjoy some early autumn colors here.😊 The next outfit will also be made with the same “UNIQLO C” shirt as above . I’m also pairing it with a UNIQLO✖️JW 。 For the fifth outfit, I’ll use the half – zip sweatshirt I bought at GU. I’ll pair it with MUJI barrel leg denim for a casual look. I’ve been showing you unisex items so far, but this one is also unisex . Pair it with a canvas bag and gray New Balance sneakers , add some glasses and earrings, and you’ve got yourself a boyish, slightly autumn-inspired casual outfit! For the next outfit, I’ll be mixing and matching the tops from GU. For the bottoms, I’ll be using the GU Belted Wide Pants, which I’ve featured a few times already . My favorite color is green , so naturally, I’ve been using a lot of green in these slightly autumn-inspired outfits. Add some beige sneakers to go with the pants, some cap hoop earrings, and a canvas bag, and you’re done! ✨ Next, I’ll be using the GU Dry Wide T-shirt. For the bottoms, I’ll be using Muji’s Barrel Leg Denim. I’ll pair this simple outfit with a large Smelly scarf, which I mentioned a little earlier. Since the scarf is the focal point, I’ll go with simple, not-too-large earrings . Matching the shoes and bag completes a simple, yet slightly autumn-inspired casual outfit! ✨ For the eighth outfit, I’ll be using the same “GU” top as before, but this time with “UNIQLO” jeans. A white T-shirt with washed denim gives off a slightly summery vibe, so I ‘ll be using “A” I’ll be pairing it with a small leopard print scarf from “.PC.” This scarf is a little small, so I folded it to make it easier to tie, and then tied it around my neck. Adding accessories to a summer outfit, I’ll complete a traditional outfit with a bit of autumn in mind by adding a bag, shoes, and glasses . ✨ For the next outfit, I’ll be mixing and matching tops from “GU.” This T-shirt was purchased last year, but GU also sells a very similar one this year, called the “Dry Waist Tuck T.” I’ll also be wrapping a scarf around this outfit with “UNIQLO” shorts, matching the glasses, bag, and shoes, and my “autumn-inspired outfit with shorts” is complete. ✨ As an aside, I have a “bruise on my arm that I don’t remember getting” 😂 I’m sorry it’s a bit unsightly…😂 It hurts when I press on it, so I must have hit it somewhere, but I’m surprised because I can’t remember doing it at all 😂 For my 10th outfit, I’ll be mixing and matching the GU top from earlier. For the bottoms, I paired my favorite UNIQLO jeans with a leopard print scarf to complete this outfit. ✨Here ‘s a little bonus outfit🤭I often wear a rock tee, which I wear under a jacket in early summer and is great for summer too! I paired it with a pearl necklace to give it a slightly autumnal feel🤭In the summer, I often paired it with a silver necklace, but in early autumn, pearls are so cute that I enjoy mixing them with washed or black denim like this, creating a pearl mix look🤭 From here on, I’ll introduce the items I used in the outfit.
