This time, I’ll be reviewing “Kaleido Colorworks ,” the amazing new water-based acrylic paint from GAAHLERI . This luxurious set, housed in a hard case, is the “ProMaster Series | Auto Colors.” It includes a complete set of varnishes (overcoats) and thinners. It’s designed specifically for airbrushing and is pre-diluted for immediate use. This set features a selection of colors that are easy to apply to car models, and many of them are truly appealing to paint. The set contents (color names) are detailed in the description, so please refer to that. Next, we have the 24-color primary color set. I compared the size with the Vallejo bottles. It even came with thinner and cleaner. I actually sprayed it with an airbrush. It painted beautifully without any effort… The plastic spoon has a smooth surface, making it easy to paint cleanly, but it’s still incredibly easy. I don’t know much about complex chemistry, but apparently a new technology called “Rapid Air” has been used to achieve a smooth paint finish. Both the thinner and the paint are virtually odorless. I’ll try painting this color next. This paint series is odorless and nontoxic, but wear a mask to avoid inhaling the mist. The gloss may fade after drying, so check later. I’ll check the particle size with silver. Metallic colors. Spraying metallic colors too thick can easily cause the particles to move and result in unevenness, so be careful. This will result in a more subdued sheen, so I’ll try spraying a generous amount. There’s a slight unevenness in the particles, but it’s becoming less noticeable over time. I’ll try varnish. First, gloss varnish. (glossy coat). Next, matte varnish. (matte coat). Even after time, the freshly applied gloss has remained. (Natural light) I had the impression that water-based paints have a weak coating, but that’s been disproved. This was about five hours after application. (Summer) To be on the safe side, I think it’s best to leave it for a few days. This was a quick review, but I was simply amazed. I was particularly impressed by the gloss and strength of the paint. The paints, including the thinner, are almost odorless, which I think is great because they don’t make the room smell bad. Even if you don’t buy the set, just one color is fine, so I’d definitely recommend trying them out. This is the current lineup as of July 2025. They’re divided into categories, but you can also just buy the colors you want. However, since you can mix colors, it’s convenient to have a certain number of colors.
