Exactly 15 years ago, Yutaka Ozaki took a temporary hiatus from his music career, headed to New York, rented an apartment, and started living alone. There are precious footage of his days in New York. Please take a look. On November 29, 1985, Yutaka Ozaki celebrated his 20th birthday and announced an indefinite hiatus. The following year, he performed in Fukuoka in January 1986. In the spring of 18 years old, Yutaka Ozaki made a shocking live debut and completely disappeared from public appearances. He gained overwhelming support from impressionable young people of his generation , and rose to the top in a short period of time . He also left an amazing record of filling the Osaka Stadium at the young age of 19, just a year and a half after his debut . Before he knew it, Yutaka Ozaki had come to be known as the guru of young people. He wanted to take a look at himself in a quiet place. Perhaps that was Yutaka Ozaki’s thoughts behind his sudden announcement of a hiatus. In May 1986, Yutaka Ozaki headed to New York by himself. His life in that exciting city lasted more than half a year. Walking through the skyscrapers , he peeked into an Ozaki musical instrument shop and went to the supermarket. It was the following year, 1987, when he returned to the fans who had been waiting for him. This video was taken in New York in the summer of 1987, but some of the fans may have seen it for the first time. Well, it seems like they were absorbing a lot of things , and their facial expressions were normal…and you could see expressions that you wouldn’t normally see at a live performance.

41年前でしたね。1985年上京しました。東京では、尾崎豊さん人気ありましたね。僕は、少し後の覚醒剤逮捕の時をきっかけに聞くようになりました。バースツアー2回観ました。こちらの映像、一部核のPV等にありましたね。写真家の人が撮影したんですよね。
