Hi everyone! This is JouNail☺️ I’ll start by removing the previous black and white nails with a peel-off remover. Apply the remover generously around the nail. Wood stick I’ll start lifting the nail from the side. Keep applying the remover to the edges as you go to make it easier to lift off. Once the edges are loosened, the whole piece pops right off. Today, I’ll be doing Halloween nails as requested! Thank you to everyone who shared their ideas♥️ I’m planning to go dark and cute with some special Halloween touches🎃👻 Removal complete! Now, let’s trim the nails a bit shorter. Since I’ll be doing extensions, I’m trimming them down! If you’re working on natural nails, shape them the way you like. Using a thin file, let’s shape the free edge. The free edge is the part of the nail separated from the skin at the tip! Make sure there are no sharp edges. Using a sanding block, I’ll buff the surface of the nail. Buff around the cuticle area and the sides to make it all even. This process helps with durability by smoothing out the surface and adding a bit of texture. Now, let’s clean the surface with alcohol. Make sure to remove any dust and oils thoroughly. Next, I’ll apply a peel-off base gel. I already applied the nail stripper in the middle. Apply the gel evenly, being careful not to touch the skin. Cure for 60 seconds. Base layer done! Today, I’ll be extending with dual forms and builder gel! For the extension gel, I’ll be using the clear AirEx gel. Choose a form that fully covers the sides of your nail. It’s too big for my index finger but fits perfectly on the middle finger. I’ll apply the gel inside the form! This extension gel works well with dual forms or tips. Flat brush Starting with the thumb. Swipe it from the tip to the base. Make sure to cover all the way to the sides. Add more gel in the center for thickness. Gently place it on the nail, starting near the cuticle. Press lightly to make it stick well. Do a quick cure so it doesn’t move, then fully cure it under the lamp. This method is easy enough for beginners! Brush it down the middle Fill the sides completely. I’ll fill any gaps and build up the thickness. Filling the gaps and adding thickness. I’ll extend the rest the same way! Now, I’ll add top gel to the underside. The built-in brush is thin, so it’s easy to apply precisely. Top gel helps keep the nails clean and shiny as you go about your day. Apply a thin coat all over. Now, let’s remove the form. Lift it off carefully with tweezers. Use a file to clean up the outer edges. And make the tip even. I’ll keep the coffin shape but clean up the sides for a neat finish! Thin out around the cuticle to make it blend naturally. Wipe it down once with alcohol. Make sure there’s no dust left on the surface! It’s still a bit thin, so I’ll overlay for extra strength. Cover the whole nail to add thickness. By applying a thin layer and smoothing it, you can make a nice, even surface. Cure for 60 seconds, and the extensions are complete! I’m planning to go with purple shades and add some dark accents! Starting with a deep purple! It’s like the perfect deep purple. Let’s do a full coat. There’s something so satisfying about filling in a rich color, haha. Skipping the ring finger for now! Carefully outline the cuticle. Cure for 30 seconds. I’ll go in with a second coat for a richer color! Outline the cuticle neatly and swipe to the end. For the ring finger, I’ll use a different purple. This one looks like a purple mixed with white! It’s the same purple family but feels so different, haha. A soft lavender tone! It’s gentle and calming. Let’s do two coats here as well. 30-second cure. To add some drama, I’ll layer on some black! Painting only about a third of the tip. I’ll blend it out with a sponge! Cutting the sponge into a small square like a sugar cube. Using a sponge clip to apply it. Gently dab to blur the edges. Check if the blending’s right as you dab. I’ll do the same gradient on the deep purple. Since both colors are rich, blending them looks seamless. 30-second cure! Wipe off the tacky layer with alcohol. Since I’ll be drawing on it, I don’t want any gel to smudge. Make sure to remove all the stickiness. I’ll put a bit of color on the palette. Using a dotting tool to start the outline! I’ll draw a pumpkin. Think of it as three ovals side by side for the pumpkin shape🎃 Add a little stem at the top. Now, I’ll draw a cute ghost. Start with a circle and swipe down for the tail. Let’s add little arms for it. I’ll draw another ghost on the index finger. For the pinky, I’ll do a tilted pumpkin..! (Got a call…) Using black painting gel, I’ll draw the lines on the pumpkin. Curving lines. Drawing the lines thinly. I’ll make it 3D with embossing gel! Filling each section, starting from the left. Use a thin brush to shape it neatly. Cure each section separately for defined lines. Using the brush to shape the stem with a bit of gel. Let’s make the ghost plump and rounded, too. Making the little ghost and pumpkin more 3D. Now, I’ll add faces with black! Using a dotting tool to place them roughly. Giving the eyes a triangle shape. Drawing the mouth with a zig-zag. For the ghost, just three dots for the face! haha Adding stars and a moon around. For the star, mark the center and draw lines outward for an easy shape. Drawing stars one by one at the top. I’ll add light-colored stars using painting gel. Mixing purple, white, and black to make a soft lavender. First, mix purple and white. Then just a hint of black! Black adds a touch of depth to the color. I’ll draw stars in the empty spaces. Connect with curved lines for a rounded star shape. Just stars can feel plain, so I’ll add a moon. For the index and pinky, I’ll add designs only at the bottom. I’ll create a heart-shaped spider web on the ring finger! Using a heart sticker for the outline. Peel carefully and place it in the center. Drawing lines around the heart to make the web. Outlining it lightly first. Stick down the sticker fully and go over the lines to make them bold. Fill in evenly to keep the thickness consistent. Cure, then add connecting lines in between. Just like before, mark it first, then adjust thickness later! Outline again to make it bold. Heart spider web complete🕸️ I’m going to decorate it with some gems! Gathering the tools. I’ll use purple Swarovski stones and a silver chain. Cutting the crystal chain into sections for easy use. Tiny star studs Attaching small charms with clear gel! This clear gel from Crea has a thin built-in brush. Apply a thin layer to the area you’ll be decorating. Crystal stones Placing them in a line on the left. Adding a heart Swarovski as well. Adding the cut crystal chain pieces in between. Star stud Using silver ball charms to add detail! Ball charms add a luxurious and intricate touch. One teardrop stone at the end of the ball charm. Once it’s perfect, quick cure. I’ll secure the larger Swarovski with 3D gel! Press it down firmly on the middle finger. A big teardrop Swarovski It’s a deep purple, absolutely stunning. Slightly bluish-purple tone. Adding more clear gel around it to finish decorating. A thin layer over the whole area, except the stones! Wrapping a twisted chain around the stones. Leaving a little gap instead of covering it completely. Four sections of crystal chain. Placing one beside the stone. One more row underneath. Adding tiny stones in the spaces. Star charm Adding a few more ball charms. I was thinking of leaving the ring finger as it is, but let’s add one Swarovski! A purple heart. For the pinky, I’ll keep it simple with just a few crystal stones! And some ball charms. Decoration complete! Now, just need to finish with top gel! Starting with the thumb, quickly covering where there are no charms. Applying thinly to keep the 3D look! Using a thin brush for the rest. Around the cuticle with an even thinner brush! Completely covering the chains and charms and sealing the sides of the stones. And the rest, swipe away. Lastly, a 60-second cure, and…! Halloween nails complete💜 Did my best to create a spooky Halloween vibe with purple! Thank you for watching, and see you in the next video!💜
