Hi everyone! It’s Judy Ongg here! People often ask me that what I bring when I travel. When I travel, I have to work, too, maybe during the half of the stay. If I travel purely in private, I will need only T-shirts. But when I travel for my job, I will need a proper suit and the whole set of my facial cleaning kit, which is quite bulky. To pack all of the things compactly, I’d like to show you that today! At first, you can see this bag. This bag is a must for me! Because this is my facial cleansing kit! Some hotels have small bathroom sink, right? This bag can be hung like this. I can see everything that I have. It came out. It’s a net to lather my face when I wash my face. I’m thankful to it. I don’t carry a mousse type cleanser. I have a cream cleanser, too, so this net makes it huge! What are these? Some people don’t know them! How come? They’re very important! You put them on your wrists. When you wash your face, the water drip stops here. So you won’t wet your pajamas when you wash your face! After the use, I need to dry them, hanging from the towel rack in the bathroom. So they’re my necessities, as well as my hair brush and toothbrush. What I usually do is I carry my cosmetics in small plastic jars. For the trip for 2-3 days, this is enough, facial lotion, pre-makeup cream, and cleansing cream. I have them all! Also, there’s shampoo and conditioner. There’s one more must-have item to me here. During my bath time, I massage my face. Based on the Gua Sha, I massage my face to drain liquid waste from my face. For your eyes, I massage from here to there, pulling my face to drain some waste. To do the massage, my face must be wet, so I have this lotion. The original bottle is huge, however I put it into the small bottle. I put some lotion from the bottle to my hand like this and massage. And of course, a dental floss! You must do this everyday. It’s important to keep clean between teeth. Everything needed is here, and the important key is this small packet. I think that it’s enough for travelling for 2-3 days, well, 4 days. When I travel for 5 days, what I bring gets bigger. Anyway, this bag contains my life savers. Now, an important item fell behind my bag. Do you know what it’s? Isn’t this cute color? It’s a small pair of scissors. When you want to eat some fruits, here’s a knife! There’s another knife, too. I don’t know why this has two knives. By this, I can eat tangerines and oranges. This item always come with me. Here are small objects like a hair elastic to hold my hair in place, which can be helpful. I’ve showed you the dental floss, but have you heard of interdental brush? We should use it everyday, too. I bought this one with a cover. People with strong bad breath usually don’t use the dental floss nor interdental brush. A mouthwash after this would help clean your mouth well. What? What did I find? I found a stain remover sheet that I’d put long time before! But I should have it! When you need it, you can find it here. This is important too! Do you think there is nothing you can do when pollen flies?
You should take care of it. I have this bottle from Taiwan. When you do the nasal wash, if you use some water without some salt, it will go to your head causing irritation. However if you have some water with the same amount of salt as your nasal discharge, you won’t feel discomfort. Also, don’t use hot water. Instead use cooled water that is a little bit cooler than your skin temperature. So when I need to do nasal wash, I need this. I put the nesal wash pot into a different bag because it takes space. My essential goods are all inside of this bag in the bathroom. And I have a sewing kit, maybe from some hotel. I don’t have to be afraid if a button comes off. I can fix it right away. I think I can talk about the items inside this bag for a few days, so let me go to the next thing. Travellers should be prepared, then they’re safe. I’ve found one more important item. Can you see them? When my nail is in danger of peeling off, I put on these gloves and shampoo. The gloves protect my nails. So they’re necessary, especially whem my nails are in danger. With them, I can keep my nails for 3 days somehow. I put net type goods here. When I close this bag, it becomes compact. I put this bag in line with the edge of the suitcase. So it’s ok even if your clothes cover this lower side a little. This bag is done! Some people ask me why I carry so many handbags. When you put your handbag in your suitcase, it will be very bulky if you put it in as a handbag. However, you can think of it as putting only the outside of the handbag in the suitcase. How should I do? Here’s a bag with some volume here. If you put something on top, it’ll be flattened. I don’t want to lose the shape of the handbag. I’ll tell you my special technique! I use a ziplock and stuff it with my stockings and socks. Aren’t they cute? I love them! It’s a good idea to include something in your travel goods that will make you feel at home. If you have something in there that looks cute when you take it out, you’ll be in a better mood, even if you’re mad at it. After you put the goods inside the bag, zip it until it’s half way closed. Then you squeeze it! When it becomes firm, close the zip all the way, then put it inside the handbag. I need to bring these stockings and socks anyway, so if I stuff the ziplock inside the bag, it’ll be full. Therefore, only the outside of the handbag will be increased in the suitcase because its inside is my necessity. So I think that my handbags are containers, too. Let’s go next! For example, let me put some clothes here. There’s a rule that you need to follow here when storing my clothes in. You need to place your clothes flat, as flat as possible. If you can place them flat, they would stay ironed. If you fold them, they’d get wrinkled. Try to store them as flat as possible. Place them flat, and keep that in your mind. After putting this jacket, it became thicker, so I’d place another jacket on the other side. To keep everything flat. Let’s say that these clothes are all to bring. Now, this is the key to keep them nicely! Put the half side inside the bag by folding once. Do the same for the opposite side. They’re flat, then zip the bag up! Then they won’t get wrinkled! I’d put it as it’s inside my suitcase. This is quite important. I’ve been using the net cases for such a long time, but I can’t have them enough! If you want to travel only using this small suitcase, then fold the flattened case only once and put it inside your carry-on. Your clothes will stay flat. If there’s some thickness, your clothes won’t get wrinkled. If you want to avoid the wrinkles more, place a towel or scarf inside the middle of the case. Then, you can avoid the wrinkles for the clothes in the middle. Using this kind of knowledge, hang your clothes right away after you arrive your hotel room. If you have some wrinkles, hang the clothes in the bathroom after your shower, so that its moisture will solve the wrinkles. Let’s go to the next one! This suitcase is my carry-on bag. I’ll show you the inside of it. I put my study goods inside this carry-on bag. The most needed thing inside the airplane is these slippers because the airplane slippers are usually too big for me. These slippers can be folded in half, so I won’t get dirty if you put them inside here. Also I have my study goods here. This bag can be flat. They’re some music scores or script, according to my job then. Inside the airplane, when I feel like to study, I just need to pull this bag out. If you put a few things separately, it’d be a mess. I’d place it on the top. Because it’s always cold in the airplane, I must bring my scarf. I don’t want it to get messy, so put it in a plastic bag. It slips, so you can put it freely, but if you don’t like the wrinkles, fold it nicely. You can close the zip, whatever. Place it folding in half or as it is. My packing rule is to put everything flat in my suitcase, so I can put many things inside it. On the airplane, I’d pull out the scarf smoothly. Because it’s cold in the airplane, I wear it like this. It makes me warm. When I leave, I’d fold and put it inside again. This is my must-have item! This? This is my smaller suitcase. I have 2 bigger suitcases, like this height. Moreover, I have a even bigger black suitcase, that will keep my stage costumes. Going on a trip also means, for me, that the workplace moves as it does.
