言わずとしれた名画『カサブランカ』。
戦時中の対独プロパガンダ映画としての面を強く持ち、ほとんどシナリオもできていないうちにバタバタと撮り始められ、監督も職人肌のマイケル・カーティスであるなど、けっして名作傑作を意図して作られた映画ではないのにもかかわらず、ほぼ完璧な名画として映画史に記憶されることとなった奇跡のような作品です。
