Hello! This is KAWASHIRI REN. Today [(2024) Day of the shoot]
is December 9th. Some of you may know from this but it’s the day after the second show of JO1DER SHOW 2024 “WHEREVER WE ARE” in Kobe. To be honest we have a day off today! We got to spend it in Kobe so I’m going to enjoy the city. [(He’s from Kobe)]
TAKUMI isn’t here today, but I asked him about the city and he recommended a lot of different places [TAKUMI’s Must-See Spots in Kobe]
so I’m going to go around those places today. My first stop [TAKUMIA’s first recommended spot]
is Kobe Suma Seaworld. It’s an aquarium TAKUMI told me about. Apparently I can see penguins [(REN is excited to see penguins)]
so I’m really excited. I’m going to enjoy Kobe today! Let’s go. [I’ll be back] [Heading into Kobe Suma Seaworld]
I’m inside! [REN discovered something right when he got in] Killer whale. [Got in to find a killer whale figure] First I’m going to go see some fish. [Saw some dolphins on the way]
There are dolphins! They look so cute swimming. Bye! Okay, I’m indoors now. Wow! Cute! [Saw some loaches first] Cute. [Welcome] Cute. These fish look like they’re flying. They really do look like they’re in water! Who are you? [A salamander] Is that your friend? [Friend(?)] You look alike. I just listened to an explanation of the area and I came in through the upper region. As I go down to the lower region I think I get closer and closer to the ocean. It said “A Timeline of Water” at the entrance. Wow! So it goes up flows to a waterfall which leads the water to a river that leads to the ocean. [(It seems that the aquarium is set up to follow the flow and ecosystem of water)]
That’s what it is! It’s in order. I’m going to head to the lower region now. This is probably a carp. We call it “nigoi” and it’s a unique Japanese carp that’s apparently rare! I did think carp were super Japanese. This is an area with both river and oceanwater. [A transparent and clean tank] So clean. [(The average sizes of the fish started to get bigger)] So big. This one’s big. So big. How should I say this? The way they live, or swim, is different. They as in the big ones. They’re very confident. [(There was a tank with a lot of octopuses)]
Wow! There are a lot! So many. Wow. How many are there? Octopuses are the best. Okay, next I’m at the Kurage Zone. The Kurage Zone is also called “KURAGE LIFE.” So long. Very long. [Contracting]
Wow, it’s getting shorter! Wow! I feel like that would definitely get tangled. Jellyfish. The transparency is insane. It’s so bright. [The jellyfish is showing bright red light]
This one is crazy. [There were a lot of cool jellyfish in there] Wow! It’s a moray eel! It just opened its mouth. Moray eel! So many Nemo’s! So cute. This one jacket shoot was orange with white highlights and I was like it’s Nemo color! So cute. Conger eel. Oh? Wow! [(REN is super energetic at the sight of conger eels)]
So cute. I like how you’re looking in front. Wait, they’re looking this way! [Looking around] Oh, how nice. You know which way front is. [Are these guys idols of the conger eel world?] I love conger eels. Look, you’re so cute. [Really?] Conger eels are so interesting. [REN continues to enjoy the aquarium] Cute. [There were a lot of other fish as well] There’s a guy that’s as orange as my hair. Red orange? Is this visible? Maybe not. [Matching colors] This color must be trending. [Discovered a fish doll claw machine!] The music is exciting. I’ll go for Nemo here. [His target is this] I can do it. Oh, I got something! A whale shark? A whale shark. Cute! I got so many! Woopaloopa. Woopaloopa! I got a Woopaloopa too! So adorable. So adorable! I’m never going to stop if I keep getting things. [That was REN hooked onto the claw machine] Today’s main event. I’m here to see a killer whale! I saw one a bit ago and it’s huge! I’ll wait until this starts. [The orca performance begins!] It just did a crazy jump! I’m kind of nervous because everyone around me has raincoats on. This might be dangerous. [(Here I go!)] Wow! [(He thought correctly)] This is actually insane! This is actually insane! [Haha] [REN is having so much fun at the orca’s charisma] This is fun. Wow! This is dangerous! [(It let REN slide)] [(Maybe not)] This is going to be bad, isn’t it? Whoa! [Haha]
This is crazy! [The water drenched the microphone (cry)] My goodness, I’m so wet! Wow. [The orca’s performance went on for a bit longer] [See you next time] [It was a great show] Next I’m going to eat here. [REN’s choice] [Orca buns]

It’s cold! Apparently I have to go up the stairs. [Arrived] Ta-da! I can see all of Kobe here. [Golden hour!] So pretty. This is the legendary “umie MOSAIC,” the mall TAKUMI and SHION were excited to go to. We mentioned it during the show, so I’m sure some JAM will be there. [(Did any JAM go after our Kobe show?)] MOSAIC. With that I’d like to wrap up my Kobe vlog! The day after tomorrow, and the day after that marks the day of JO1’s formation and JAM’s birthday so we’re going to have a livestream but in between, I got to enjoy Kobe a little bit. Rumor has it that Osaka is near and so some of us may be going to U*J to hang out. Now that I’ve enjoyed today I’ll work hard for our concert in celebration of JO1’s formation on December 11th, and JAM day on December 12th! Bye, Kobe!
