  1. 3回と少ないイニングだったけど、初球から100マイルで力が入ってるのが分かりました。押し出しで1点は与えましたが、ワンアウト満塁からよく持ちこたえましたよね。今後の活躍にも期待しましょう。

  2. 100 mph multiple times from someone who looks so young like hes out of High School is insanse. Hopefully his control gets better im sure his anxiety got the best of him here

  3. Electric stuff. Overthrowing a bit. Needs to locate, pull the string more and save the 100 for when he needs it. Keeps this up and it's TJ in 2 years max.

  4. Guy walked too many batters in the third inning.
For the baseball people out there, why didn't the Dodgers battery try to pitch to contact and force a double play? Granted, none of Roki's breaking balls were anywhere close to the strike zone, but to a casual baseball fan, it was almost as if he was trying to get the Cubs hitters out with brute force (i.e. like Furuya Satoru against Ichidai Sankou in Diamond no Ace Act II)

  5. Obviously control is an issue, but I'm rooting for him.
His pitching motion that gets his feet up high is powerful, the splitter is very impressive.
And I can feel him throwing each pitch as hard as he can.

  7. 1st game of your mlb career in your home country. Damn right I'd be nervous. Top prospect too. Whole world watching. Don't worry he'll be good

  8. I just can't imagine how much pressure he felt on his MLB debut in his home country. He didn't have a good control, and he got himself in trouble, but he managed to find a way to get out of it under the tremendous pressure. I think that's what a good pitcher would do, and he's got it. Give him a little more time and he'll be ok.

  9. The way he throws and the history of flame throwers there’s no way his arms going to hold up. But I do wish it will and hope he does well.

  10. 3 ER win for his first MLB game. That includes the immutable first strikeout of Sasaki’s MLB career, against fellow countryman Suzuki. Forever etched in history. The baseball gods foreordained that.

  11. 初登板だからかなり力んでたね
    ピッチクロックもギリギリでまだ適応に時間がかかるかも
    ボール自体はほぼ捉えられた打球なかったし通用してる

  12. He gave up five foul balls in the third inning and two stolen bases.
It helped that the Cubs batters swung at balls that were out of the running.
I don't know how long he'll be used by a team that's supposed to win. I'm not optimistic.

  13. Rooting for this guy, if you know his backstory he literally went through one of the worst tragedies someone could face and still made his dream of making it to the big leagues come true

  14. The average number of spectators at Lotte Stadium, which Roki threw until last year, was 27,000. However, this time the Tokyo Dome has 42,000 people
It seems that the pitching rhythm was disturbed by tension and unfamiliar pitch clock.
