「剛さんと目黒さんに直接交流があるとは聞いたことがなく、ましてや長電話なんて……」
アイドル誌ライターが驚きを隠さなかったのが、KinKi Kids・堂本剛（45）のラジオでの発言だった。 「非常に真面目な子で、もう誠実。“まっすぐくん”でした。声もかっこよかったです」 3月1日に放送された『堂本剛とFashion＆Music Book』（BAYFM）で“ベタ褒め”していた相手こそ、Snow Man・目黒蓮（28）。およそ1時間半、目黒と話していたという。 「目黒さんは今春からSnow Man初となるスタジアム公演を控えています。まだ発表前の仕事も多数あり、多忙だといいます。そんななかで長電話の相手が大先輩の剛さんだったというのが意外でした」（前出のライター）
実は目黒は’23年3月、『KinKi Kidsのブンブブーン』（フジテレビ系）にゲスト出演した際、学生時代からキンキのファンだったと明かし、こう語っていた。
