The wait for this next Episode 6 tomorrow night is killing me…!
At the end of Episode 5 I couldn't help but feel like hugging HAGIWARA after he realized to really have made love for the very first time in his life… and that with SEI… a guy…! All of his relationships up to this point became meaningless after that night. 😭😭
The desperate ways he tried to persuade SEI to stay together with him a little longer in that hotel room, and the next day at the office begging SEI desperately to accept his feelings for him was heartbreaking to watch…😭😭
It was really troublesome that SEI was unable to sort out his feelings for HAGIWARA, and insisted that what they had was just a one night stand, making HAGIWARA felt into tears and run away. 😭😭
These mix of feelings had me remembering the rooftop scene of the Canadian gay short film Verona from 2010… with BRANDON telling XAN:
– I hope you are not too late. (meaning, not too late to show him what true love is all about)
– Where do we go from here?

Luckily their partners KAORI and KAZUAKI found out the truth about them spending a night together, and as we see in the teaser to Episode 6 HAGIWARA will be breaking up with his girlfriend KAORI, and KAZUAKI will be showing his dark sadist and oppressive side openly to SEI. 🥵
The ending of this story is going to be entirely up to SEI:
Can he finally end his frustrating long roommates relationship with KAZUAKI and open up to HAGIWARA's love for him…?
We will see…

Wow… Watching this Episode 6 in Berlin by minus 4°C, snowfall outside, together with my fujoshie sisters and other yaoi friends in our home cinema room was something unique. Between Spanish hot chocolates and red wine experiencing SEI's abuse by his roommate KAZUAKI in the first part was heavy and inevitable. It is really hard to say what is in KAZUAKI's heart and mind. We all argued that he could be asexual, and that is why he has a sort of phobia towards any kind of physical contact with SEI, but still loves him very dearly. The fact that he was talking about moving out to a house somewhere far from the city center after knowing what happened is one of the clues in this direction. Also KAZUAKI has been making small concessions to SEI already, like buying the TV. Whenever he had the feeling that SEI was coming to his limits he found ways to calm him down. But know the last wall has fallen, and there is no way for their relationship to continue as before. To our surprise SEI chooses to erase his line of communication with HAGIWARA by destroying his sim card. Of course… the emails are stored in the outlook and not in the smartphone itself. They can be access online from everywhere. But there is no way for phone calls anymore. SEI also chooses to let go of HAGIWARA, but it remains unclear how he intends to life his life from now on:
Is he really planing to keep on living together with KAZUAKI in spite of having feelings for HAGIWARA?

The talk between SEI and HAGIWARA shows the stand point of view of each one of them. While HAGIWARA wants to be with SEI, SEI says to let go and go separated ways. While HAGIWARA is very open and honest about his feelings, but ambivalent about his resolutions, SEI seems unable to believe that HAGIWARA could really want to have a long term relationship with him. Is like SEI is wondering:
Can he really change from being straight to being gay? Can he change from liking girls to liking ME… a guy?
Those question is totally irrelevant, because it should be more about:
Does he really loves me? Can he really enjoy and be happy being together with ME… a guy?
In the middle of that talk HAGIWARA finds out that KAZUAKI abused SEI in a jealousy outrage. SEI tried to use that to scare HAGIWARA saying:
Should I tell you if he was better than you? 🥵
We all felt like slapping SEI's face right there; but HAGIWARA was able to see thru SEI… and what really happened, showing more concern that disgust, and feeling more remorseful for not being cautious when calling SEI to warn him the night before about KAORI, leading to such a reprehensible situation.

In the second half we had a great talk between KAORI and HAGIWARA. I think the best of it was she trying to use the fact that HAGIWARA had sex with another guy to end their relationship, and him making clear to her that she was already for a long time disgusted about having sex with him, and didn't really care about him. Making this clear as main reason for him to look for happiness outside their relationship forced her to finally be honest with him. In the end HAGIWARA was able to break up with her saying:
"There is somebody else that I like now. Please, let's break up."

Uff… It has been a long time since we had such a complicated Yaoi Series in the emotional level, so it feels great having this story. With only one last Episode coming up next Thursday the story is going to feel rushed and incomplete, but that is how is to be. I really want to see how SEI manages to free himself from his long time companion KAZUAKI, and opens up to giving HAGIWARA a chance to show him how much he really loves him. Until then…
