Snow Manの岩本照が、25日放送のTBS系『SASUKE2024～第42回大会～』（後6：00）に出演。仲間たちの応援を背に、3年ぶりとなる1stステージクリアを目指したが、これまで3度やられてきた鬼門「ドラゴングライダー」で落水してしまった。
岩本は「くやしいって思うよりも、みんなでひとつのものに挑んで応援して、立ち向かってクリアしてっていう空気を、今年も味わえたことが一番ありがたいなという思いが強いです」「SASUKEやってる感じが楽しかった」と声を弾ませた。 お笑い界からは、世界を笑いの渦に巻き込んだTT兄弟ことチョコレートプラネットの長田庄平＆松尾駿が初参戦。また、『キングオブコント2024』王者のラブレターズ・塚本直毅をはじめ、やす子、野田クリスタル（マヂカルラブリー）などの人気芸人たちが『SASUKE』を盛り上げる。
