Snow Man渡辺翔太、「anan AWARD」大賞に 5周年の来年は「グループ活動を優先」
Snow Manの渡辺翔太が11日、都内で行われた「anan AWARD 2024」授賞式に出席。今年の大賞に選出され、喜びを語った。
渡辺は2020年にSnow Manとしてデビュー。美容男子としても知られ、女性誌の男子美容ブームの先駆けとなり、数々の雑誌の表紙を飾った。同誌でもグループ、ソロ表紙に何度も起用されている。舞台『DREAM BOYS』ではSixTONESの森本慎太郎とともに2年連続で主演を果たした。その活躍に敬意を示し、同賞が贈られた。渡辺は「ありがとうございますという感謝の気持ちとともに僕でいいのか恐縮な気持ち。うれしいと恐縮が交差している」と照れながらも、「やったぜ！」と大声で喜びを語った。
来年はデビューから5年と節目を迎える。「個人活動をより頑張りつつも、2025年はSnowManでいられる時間多くとりたい。なるべくグループで1年を過ごしていたい。全員でテレビに出たい。ライブももっとやってファンの方たちも会いたい。グループ活動を優先。大切にしたい」と意欲的に話した。
