Drug and alcohol addiction is a direct response to unresolved trauma. I hope the media do not focus on highlighting the drugs he was on and I hope that everyone feels empathy towards the fact that he did not learn how to deal with his pain in healthier ways. Be kind to one another folks. Life is short.

On a serious note, for those in their 20s to young 30s,
This part of your life is the hardest. You are full of hope but few opportunities. You have to keep proving the value of your talents, skills and knowledge. Success is not guaranteed, despite the sudden fame many found as influencers in social media. The truth is, capitalism is the fundamental decider.
Give yourself some grace and patience to figure out who you are, your role in the world and your own measure of success and happiness. Sometimes, honestly, happiness is as simple as a drama-free day, coffee in hand, pet on lap, facing a sunrise. Not much money involved.
Whatever you do, dont give up at this time of your life. When you are in your mid 30s, life will start to make sense for you. You will understand the world enough to navigate it. And remember, you are worth more alive than not. There are many in the world who need help – e.g.abused kids and animals – and a lot for you to do.
Me? Sometimes, I wish I can go back to me in my 20s and tell me to stop beating myself up for failing to prove myself quicker. Just enjoy life and stop denying myself those quiet and peaceful times.
