Snow Man渡辺翔太とSixTONES森本慎太郎 最後の帝劇「背筋を伸ばして頑張りたい」
Snow Manの渡辺翔太とSixTONESの森本慎太郎が31日、都内で舞台「DREAM BOYS」の製作発表に出席した。東京・帝国劇場で10月9～29日に上演される。建て替えに伴い、現在の帝劇での上演は最後。渡辺は「帝劇でやってきたもので、これからどうなるか分からない。最後のつもりで背筋を伸ばして頑張りたい」と意気込んだ。
ボクシングを題材に熱い友情を描く。2人は昨年からの続投となる。04年に滝沢秀明氏主演で初演。KAT―TUNの亀梨和也、Kis―My―Ft2の玉森裕太らが演じてきた人気シリーズ。それだけに渡辺は「（現帝劇ラストは）一番ゆかりのある方がやるんじゃないかと勝手な考察をしていた」としつつ「自分がもし声がかかったらやりたいなという強い意志もあった」と快諾したという。
ただ、森本は「最初は（今年のオファーに）NOを出しました」と告白。「去年楽しかったが、自分の中で納得いかないところがあった」と明かした。
