King record which Kohdansha which was a well-known publishing company founded in 1931 cooperated with Telefunken closely in Japan from 1935.
It is from a reason such as the above that those logos closely resemble.
The silhouette of the lion is originally drawn on the central part where a letter of "TELEFUNKEN" should be in.

It is just what you say.
Her singing voice with the force gets on lively mambo by the superior arrangement and performance and gives off brilliance still more.
@Corrie121
Yes. This orchestration enhances her song really well.
We can know her charm namely Latin and talent shown in both fields of the jazz from this performance.

I am glad that I evaluated her voice highly.
She was born as downtown of Tokyo before World War II(1937) and was brought up.
Such an environment may have brought up her crisp singing.
It certainly is odd that for decades in Japan, singers performed songs in English – the lyrics of which they understood very little, if any. Like this song.
Thank you for all the good music! I did not realize that i do come back to your channel on and of now for over a decade! Time goes by. All the best from Germany!
Thanks. I don't have this song with Chiemi-san, but by Caterina Valente, who must be influenced by -?! Because, Chiemi-san does do Scating almost like Valednte does way too. Anyway, Chiemi-san also naurally picked up BRAZIL, BABALU, CUMBANCHERO, JEALOUSEY(=was sang very rarely with a High Tone Voice from turning her voice on a album;綺麗な裏声出!Caterina Valenteがin general does so often -. YOU'd better to find IT-!), others many also sang by Miss C. Valente! Chiemi-san only could doas well as having showed singing on 日本民謡!
