奇跡のアート！誰でもできるアートクレヨンで夏の絶景を描くコツ

Hello everyone. Shibasaki here. How are you doing? Every time I ask how you are doing….. …I wonder some of you may not be so feeling well… I hope sincerely…… …that those who are not doing well feel better very soon. The theme of today is this. Here. See? It’s Art Crayons. You must already know it. I am going to use this to draw a summer scene. What is it going to look like? I have some notifications to share with you . On Saturday, July 6 to 9 p.m….. …I am going to host my first live stream in a while. I would love for you to join me. Please do if you are available. I am also going to have a solo exhibition. It’s taking place from Saturday, July 27th until Thursday, August 1….. …at Gallery Sasaki in Shinsaibashi, Osaka. I will try to be there as much as I can. It would be great if I could see you and take a picture with you. So come and see me. I am looking forward to seeing you. Well then….I am going to draw that summer scene with the Art Crayons. Relax and enjoy! Let’s get started then. I am going to use Pentel’s Art Crayons that you are already familiar with. Also….tools like a ruler…. …as well as a utility knife…. …and a piece of soft t paper…. …will do if you have them at hand. In this episode….. …I am going to reproduce the drawing that I carotid during the previous Art Crayon workshop at Pentel’s headquarters. Thank you if you participated in the workshop. Wait…..the subject is right in the center of the drawing. I am relocating the lighthouse a bit to the right. As asymmetric layout makes an interesting change to the drawing. Now…I am starting to color with the yellow crayon. The theme of this drawing is "Summer Sea". I have started with yellow to represent the strong sun. The blue summer sky. A large bank of clouds of summer will take shape as you color…. The shaded area, as well as the bottom, of the clouds….have been colored blue. As you see….the light is shining from top left. I am using pink now. Art Crayons has only 8 colors….. ….but you can produce various complex colors by blending them. They are such a great medium. That is because unlike regular crayons and oil pastels….. …Art Crayons are capable of laying colors like this…. …and spreding and mixing. Those are special crayons that Pentel and I co-produced for you to enjoy creative art production. Add a lot of white. Look how easy it is to mix and spread colors. With traditional crayons and oil pastels…. …you don’t have to use a paintbrush or palette like other media. So mixing is not simple task. But for the Art crayons….use a finger as a paintbrush…. …and paper as a palette. Representation is also at your will just like using oil paint or gouache. The clouds are taking shape. Those are summer clouds. They are large and fluffy. Now the distant sky and the bottom of the clouds. Let’s add a hint of red. Brown would be nice as well. Well? They are looking like powerful clouds. I am drawing a cape that is situated in the distance in black. Dark colors play a crucial role in drawings. Add blue as well. Using black, blue and white to draw a cape for back. Use the same blue color to color the sea. I am adding a light pressure to the crayon. That is because I am going to layer different colors later. Good. Notice that different levels of pressure create different tints of blue? Add pink and white over it. An addition of white makes the colors look calm and matte. Add green now. This adds the depth to the sea as well as a rich appearance to the rocks in the front. I am using red now. This is for the lighthouse. It’s a red lighthouse. Use red as well as green. Mix the colors. As you know, red and green are complementary colors…. …which is made black when mixed. Any lines that run out…. …can be scratched off with a knife. That is another great feature of the Art Crayons. Now the lighthouse is coming along. Against the strong sun…. …the lighthouse and building are seen in silhouette. Use black for these parts. See how I am scratching again….is it interesting? Art Crayons are excellent in adding, layering ,mixing, removing and other fun techniques. Let’s add more colors to the summer sky. This way you can represent the floating air in the summer atmosphere…. …as well as the vast space in the sky. Add some three-dimensional appearance to the clouds. It’s adding even fluffier looking to the clouds. That’s it. I am using my finger to mix colors like a paintbrush. Mix black to the rocks….. …add more details to the entire drawing. To represent the reflection of the bright summer sun on the se add lots of white over. Another advantage of the Art Crayons is that white can be added over layers of other colors. They are good for any way of representation like oil paint. Removal of pigment reveals the color underneath. They are capable of a wide variety of representations. Now the rocks in the front have taken shape. I am using the scratching technique for the details of the lighthouse and the fluffiness of the clouds. Rub the surface of the drawing with a piece of soft paper to let the pigment settle. Almost there. Add these details carefully. Is it interesting? It’s enhancing the presence of the lighthouse. That’s it. Good. I am adding some rocks dotted off the shore in this large area. Color dark and scratch to draw the reflection of the could on the sea. The reflection of the bright clouds is also on the sea. Almost there. Well? Draw some boats in the distance to add spice. Add some bright colors like red and yellow. Add an ample amount of white to finish. That’s it. So it’s done. This is it. How do you think? This is the reproduction of the drawing I created for an Art Crayons workshop. the Art Crayons workshops takes place one a month in the head office of Pentel.
