SANDOWN TIPS, PUNCHESTOWN ANTE-POST AND BIG EYECATCHERS | WEEKEND WINNERS

[Music]
hello and welcome to the latest episode
of weekend winners in association with
bet Victor as we preview the jump season
finale from Sandown as well as that
we’re also going to be taking an early
look ahead of the punches sound festival
and we have some more bet boost for you
as well now as ever joining me over at
the skypad as you can see a dein Rick
and S Boswell deck how’s your week been
yeah not too bad very busy uh enjoyable
week with all the the good flat action
last week at newb and um and at New
Market as well and yeah as ever it’s a
busy uh a busy week in this industry
isn’t it it just never stops no and
we’ve still got the blend between codes
as well that we’re trying to fight our
way through Sam aren’t we but the jump
season finale Champions crowned Willie
Mullins pretty sure he’s going to be the
champion trainer Champion jockey still
yet to be decided but still enough to
look forward to I I I think the lead’s
enough for Harry myself but we’re
recording this Friday morning maybe I’ll
be made it look very silly if Sean can
bring it back but yeah Willie Mullins
what a man we’ve given up on betting on
the actual market for Champion trainer
and just put our lucky dip wheel up with
how many winners is he going to have
sand down on Saturday because he’s got a
strong hand and I’m looking forward to
talking through just some of his chances
with you yeah and I wonder if people
know as Sam and I have swap positions
here today as well no it’s putting me so
out of kilter putting me out of kilter
his Dwight Tru t-shirt after throwing a
spanner in the works we’ve got to switch
he is my style
icon I know it’s throwing me right off
going to be calling you second dam for
something or other going to be blending
the pair of them together but hopefully
they they’ll still be finding the
winners over same now before we get
stuck into the preview properly our
reminder as ever to please do gamble
responsibly our tips are not guaranteed
to win but we will still do our best to
point you in the right direction right
we kick off at Sandown with a really
tricky one the 3:00 this is of course
the great one celebration Chase for the
five rods andova over a mile 7 well the
extended mile 7 now alvolo 8 to1
favorite jumbo 9 to4 in next 8 to one
bar about the remainder Lads we have the
match up we wanted now all season deck
but who wins this we have yeah I’m
looking forward to this this could be a
fair old spectacle there’s nothing like
two mile chasing here at uh at Sandown
is there especially with all those
fences down the back straight um finally
on some spring ground which is um a big
plus for me and only on and also with
spring round we’ve got our race with
lots of Pac next year the nuts will go
forward Edward theit in first time cheek
pieces will go forward Edward Stone and
John Bon won’t be too far away either
and Katie Tracy I just think it’s all
going to set up well for El fabiolo I’ve
been dying to see this horse on some
nice ground for a long long time I think
it really brings out the best of them it
helps him travel that little bit sweet
and I think it helps his jumping as well
and if he does have an Achilles heel it
is his jumping as we all know it it’s
really frustrating because sometimes he
can be absolutely deadly but at the
odense he can just make a poor shape but
I’m hoping this better ground will help
his jumping um we’ll see what what way
that p i I just think the race sets up
well for him as well plenty of pace from
him to chase Paul towning can take a
Time nice start from him up the hill
there the first two fences get him into
a nice Rhythm and hopefully he can um
get a bit of cheltam redemption chelham
Redemption then like say with the jumpy
did finally catch him out Sam are you in
agreement or do you think that the
jumping might find a mouse at sand down
well rare for once but actually in full
agreement with rxy I think he’s got it
spot on here I do think the better
ground’s key I definitely understand why
people have concerns about the jumping
but I actually weirdly think maybe that
whole faster Pace might help ensure that
there’s a rhythm um John Bon his major
adversary here I suppose you’ve got to
try and work out why we want to take him
on I personally feel like going back
down in trip may not suit him now I’d be
curious to see what they do next year
with him but this is going to be run at
a pace and I know his jumping was
probably the best John bonds jumping I
thought last time out than we’ve ever
seen it over fences but I I just really
feel like it’s a quick turnaround as
well isn’t it I know you’ve obviously
missed the festival but I am just
questioning that and I just feel like El
FAO there is redemption here Willie
Mullins I know he’s after the title but
he’s not going to send him unless they
feel he’s Cherry ripe um he did us a
massive favor when he didn’t win at the
festival but I don’t think he’s going to
help but make us out come Saturday I
hope Willie’s wife has bought a new
kitchen because new kitchen sink because
Will’s been throw he throwing it up go I
was wondering why this is is going to go
right Jackie mullen’s then on the sink
buying train so you two are both of Al
Fabiola I mean for me this is just a
nightmare because I’ve been saying all
along Al aolo is the one for me for
these two to clash because in my mind
and I think in an awful lot of people’s
minds he is the most talented horse of
all of these by quite a margin but the
jumping frailties finally caught up with
him last time out at chham and he was
pulled up very very quickly as a result
of of that where yes you can say that he
obviously didn’t have a hard race at
chham he is coming here fresher than
John Bond but I just wonder deck you
said about the pace of the race if
that’s really going to put the pressure
on him we’ve seen a fair few Mullins hot
pots overturned at Sandown mostly in the
tingle Creek admittedly but we have seen
a fair few of them overturned over the
years and I just wonder again
alvolo whether or not the ability is
going to be enough to see him through
this if he jumps and consents that then
yeah that’s a very good and fair price
but John Bon for all that he’s coming
back down in trip for all that we we’re
sort of anticipating him as a King
George horse for next season now but
John Bon’s going to have to be the way
for me to go at those prices because if
you ask me would I be backing Al Fabiola
at that price no uh would I be backing
johnan at that price I probably would
would be backing him at that fascinating
Clash over same three from three at
Sandown as well as John Bon so I’m going
to have toci against elfab one thing I
did want to mention before we wrapped up
in the races I I I wondered we obviously
know he made the mistake El fabiolo at
chelon but I wondered even before that
was he on a on a going day I thought he
got a little bit warm for him and he
didn’t kind of travel early like I know
he came out of the race very early but
when he’s in good form I think we know
our faded s down his head is usually
bowed and he makes life tough for Paul
town and I’d like to see that over the
first couple of fences and I don’t think
we saw that Shelton which probably uh uh
probably added to the mistake as well
but we shall see we’re bumping heads in
the first race already no I know and I’m
so scared to be bumping heads with this
as well but again it’s just a price
thing for me which horse would I be
backing at that John bun is going to be
the way for me but best of luck to
valano all the same with Al Fabiola who
do you fancy though in the celebration
Chase let us so in the comments section
below as we move on to our next race at
Sandown now this is for 335 the bet 365
Gold Cup handicap chase a premier
handicap five Ros and overa over three
mile four and a half fongs now of course
one of the most competitive races of the
entire year last year’s reigning
Champion then Kitty’s like 9 to2 market
leader after his wonderful run in the
Grand National but Sam does he retain
his crown uh listen really respect the
favorite wonderful story for us to go in
again and make it back toback renewals
but 9-2 is just too short for me for a
horse that ran an absolute scream in the
Grand National just so quickly to come
back and this is a this is always a
difficult race versus you’ve got the
likes of 3 under through five that’s
been targeted this nichels have been
very keen to send him here 13-2 but I
went through the field and actually I
sided with a horse that I thought was a
good each way price right at the bottom
of the price screen there um we’ve all
been caught for the twiston Davis gang
who I think this horse is really
interesting here you go back through his
sort of novice Chase starts they were
okay um I think he’s definitely a sort
of horse that’s been bought along for um
staying chases and and he’s he’s going
to carry more or less bottom weight down
the bottom I think 10 Stone 4 Sammy
twiston Davis 10 stone 2 is the lowest
can do I really really am curious to see
how he gets on with him he um he was
fifth last time out in the Ultima and he
ran a really good race but the mud came
and it just didn’t suit him Sandown
touchwood is not going to get much more
rain we’re going to be starting on I’d
say good to soft ground I think that
will really suit him here and I just
think when you look at the trends of the
race he’s the type of horse that would
certainly be in and around the mix oh
Trends just stepping on Trends Trac
Trends exactly with Sam then as a little
side note there a foot note for it but
not to give anything away I fancy him
though but for later on in the show at a
decent price as well then for deck so
this horse is obviously K RI who do you
like though yeah he broke my heart that
horse I backed him at the Dublin racing
Festival a couple years ago yeah he ran
abis then didn’t he and you know one of
my mates who kind of is a half bit of a
racing F he said what are you doing back
in BR train horses in Ireland I said
very fair point so anyway we move on and
it was proven yeah so and now actually
I’m going to I’m going to put up an
Irish horse who’s coming here so I’m I’m
doubling down on the Irish in Britain
this uh this week because I’ve obviously
put up El fabiolo H I’m hoping am I
right gonna have his day in the sun um I
actually forgot this fell was sent off
favorite for the Irish car National last
year but he just didn’t turn up on the
day I think Rachel Blackmore reported he
was just never traveling so uh didn’t
have much luck there and then at the at
the start of his season his seasonal
debut at chelham he didn’t have much
luck either because his saddle slipped
and then last time out I thought he ran
a nice race in the Patty power at
Christmas at leopard’s toown on ground
that was probably just a little bit sof
him as well he’s one of the Irish horses
and I think a lot of these Henry de brah
horses um a lot of his good ones I think
they all you know we obvious say visha
Williams horses they love the mud I
think a lot of Henry’s horses actually
go on that bit of better ground and I
put this lad into that as well now he
hasn’t run since Christmas but he’s got
a good record fresh and I just think
that better spring ground will will help
him um probably lacks a little bit of
experience maybe for a race like this so
I’m hoping Rachel Blackmore can get him
into a a good posy there early get a
little bit of room for his jumping um
you know he’s actually quite well bred
this horse by shikov and his dam is
related to back in Focus who won the the
um the the old Four Mile at Shelton Once
Upon Time so he is definitely Brad to
improve over this trip the de Brom head
team are still in great order at the
moment and he’s an eight-year-old and
eight-year-olds I’m stepping on k k as
well uh this week uh eighty olds have
won three the last 10 renewals so I
thought the Irish Raider could go well
for the debr Medard yeah he will be
better on better ground won’t he seems
to make mistakes when the ground is
testing for him doesn’t seem to be as
good yeah he did make a couple of
earlier mistakes in his career I think
remember one day Rachel Blackmore um
very good sitting when he made a mistake
he does have that in his locker so yeah
I put up Al fabola who got a little
mistake in him and this lad but
hopefully like I’m saying the better
ground will suit both of those I think
it really will hopefully Al favola will
leave some holes in the fences for am I
right to just sail through then just
say5 minutes later but am I right for
deck now I’m Sing With Another Irish
horse in here as well and of course
we’re expecting it to be Willie mullin’s
crowning ceremony and hopefully he’s
going to sign off with a win in the big
one he’s winning everything at the
minute and Nick rocket I’m hoping will
be that crowning horse then for him at
about 15 to2 in here a horse who’s still
very young very unexposed you’ve both
talked about the trends while this horse
is the correct age that I want to be
siding with the right uh official rating
them for this as well now this will be
just his second handicap start he was
sent off and really well backed four to
one favorite for the Irish Grand
National last time out on that handicap
day you which is quite an Ask as we
always know for a seven-year-old but you
say about the 8-year-old SE seveny olds
so in the last few years even better
record then so between those two ages
the Seven’s just about come out on top
and he actually ran much better in the
Irish Grand National than it initially
looked for the margin that he was beaten
into seventh because he just got tired
into a home straight then faded out of
things but I’m please see they’re
bringing him back again for this giving
him another try rather than putting him
away for the summer and uh letting him
go at some big handicaps next year so
Nick rocket for another prize to be
plundered then for Willie Mullins who
looks as though he’s going to be the
first Irish based trainer to win since
Vincent O’Brien in
1954 as well so Nick rocket for me deck
um I’m hoping it’s going to be a case of
am I right with am I right well well we
will see Sam who do you like yeah I’m
we’ve been caught uh we’ve all been
caught I should say yeah but just to
mention on Deck selection seen a few
quid each way this week for for the
horse so you’re not Al good no exactly
it was probably Dex money to be fair but
uh yeah all of those pounds then but
three different selections in the big
handicap on Saturday for us again do let
us know in the comment section your own
selections now before we move on to our
next race a reminder to like And
subscribe to the at the racers YouTube
channel and also hit the Bell
notification so you never miss an
episode as we move on to the 410 now the
select hdle a grade to four-year-old
Sova over tumar 5 and and a half Fong
another big rematch lad that we have to
go out here this time between imper pass
and Langan from their bust up quite
literally at anry last time out but
imper pass five to six favor in this one
so de does he uphold that slightly
controversial form yeah I look obviously
as the maret suggest he he’s the most
likely winner I would just say I don’t
see an awful lot of pace in here maybe
Botox hasn’t the first time blinkers
will go forward along with blue King
darw but Borox has could look a bit like
Santini on this good ground wants lots
of rain and blue King is a horse who
kind of races a little bit behind the
brid so it could be a relative test of
speed over the trip look imp per pass
like I said he he he’s the most likely
winner isn’t he but I just couldn’t back
him at that price um I was really
disappointed with his finishing effort
at entry he really did look to be tying
up um I don’t know was he maybe idling a
bit or was he getting tired he he just
feels like a horse who hasn’t fulfilled
the potential of his balmore this season
um so at that price on two pounds worst
terms I didn’t want to back langard Dan
and if you like langard Dan you’ve kind
of got to like B Adam as well because
they were first and second in the coral
cup at chelham now langard Dan did beat
b Adam comfortably that day by three and
a half length but Bal Adams got a 10
pound swing in the weights and for me I
think he’s the value bet in the race um
he ran well in the Carl cup I just
thought the race panel kind of poor for
him he was too Keen in Rachel’s Hands
Henry and his team produced him in great
order on the day but he never really
dropped the bit he made three or four
really messy and fiddly mistakes as well
and then on the final circuit the race
kind of it each section just kept on
getting slower and slower and slower and
he was in the worst place tactically so
I think for him and langard danan to
pull as far clear as they did off that
kind of gallop given they were held up I
think the form is good and we know that
now because of what Langer did next time
out um he’s another horse of the the
bromad yard that I thought wants bit a
better ground so he’s coming here
fresher compared to the two Market
leaders and I just thought he was a
sporting value bet another one then for
the from head yard for you I’ve got me
I’ve got my Rachel Blackmore pajamas on
this week absolutely no doubt so hoping
Rachel can have a good weekend yeah Val
Adam you just know he’s going to come
good again at some point O over hurdles
he he was not a fan of fences but yeah
over hurdles um potentially this might
be the one then for him that we’re
turning a bit of a blind eye to Sam but
where are you looking well if deck needs
Rachel Blackmore Henry de bromhead
themed pajamas I need double green
because I’m all over imp per I know he’s
a short price at 5 to six I think that’s
fair to say but the rematch of ladan now
you’ve got to think Langan how many how
many times can they go to the well with
this horse obviously he was aimed at the
county hurdle which he obviously won
fair play he then goes to anry and runs
an absolute Stormer and is the meat and
the sandwich and arguably unlucky but I
just would be concerned about going
again whereas the favorite here he
obviously did manage to come out on top
whether that was the right decision or
not as a bob allinger backa that day I
thought they should have overruled it
but there we go um we’ll leave that for
another day but I’m really convinced
Imperial pass will be have a bit more to
find we’re coming towards the end of the
season I think it’s always so tough with
horses he’s missed the festival he’s had
some difficult assignments earlier on
the season deck I think it’s fair to say
you said obviously a little bit
questionable perhaps this point but
you’re going up against State man it’s a
difficult ask I think at 5 to six I
wouldn’t want to take any shorter but if
you can get a bit of evens on the day I
think that’s a fair the other thing with
him has maybe gone right-handed by two
him he’s always had this habit of kind
of when it was really interested
watching back the the Bal Moore that he
won he kind of goes into the hurdle Jinx
a little bit right and then jumps
straight so maybe going right will suit
him and maybe it was a case he needed
did he win a grade one last time out
needing the race given how he tied up I
don’t know as supp we find out on
Saturday yeah but we’ll also find out
about his aptitude when he does get his
head in front then if he is in that
dingdong battle which I would just so
slightly be suspicious of I think I’m
along the same sort of thinking lines as
you deck where I think he did idle in
front so sand down you don’t want to be
idling when you’ve got the grand sand up
there on the climb then we’ve seen all
manners of horses taking their eye off
the ball and I just wonder about that I
mean fair play to anyone who’s doing the
alvolo imper past double green double
then uh on Saturday but I just can’t
trust him at that price again to be
backing him so langad down would be the
one for me who really proved himself as
a graded performer in that last time out
he’s a tiny little horse and he was just
a pimble wasn’t he in between two horses
that were just buffeting him around last
time out I agree I think he should have
been given it but finish third always
puts you in a tricky position then to
have any sort of um reversal in terms of
what they’re going to do in the Stew’s
room for you but a wonderfully likable
horse and I know you said about how many
times is he going to go to the well for
him well he obviously wasn’t performing
to his optimal then earlier on in the
season so I don’t think he necessarily
had all that hard races in those until
he then went to chelham and proved
himself and again at anry last time out
as well and he’s getting 2 pound from
impero pass that very very marginal
defeat whether or not that’s going to be
enough to make the difference but we
know he’ll be trying to align and of
course he won the Imperial cup at this
course yeah and Sam was saying maybe
about him having a hard race an imper
pass I would say about leran I think the
Carl cup definitely got a bit tactical
so it wasn’t an end to type gallop and
then that was a similar case in the in
the entry hardle they only really got
racing there kind of once the Nik de Bon
L the race a light on Marie’s rock kind
of I think jumping the last in the back
straight so hopefully if you do back
those they haven’t had hard rate but I’m
kind of hoping they did of course you
are of course you are no but again so
we’ve got three different selections
here Langan for me Sam imper pass for me
de and B Adam for me okay again three
different selections there but a
cracking race yet again we’ve got some
really fascinating clashes at Sandown on
Saturday but of course this is the
immediate future and this will be the
final day of the jump season in this
country but in Ireland we still have the
punches swn Festival we’re going to just
take this moment to look ahead to next
week and to nominate some Best Bets for
now anyway so Sam would you like to kick
us off with yours yeah um I thought that
anry was quite interesting wasn’t it for
horses that had come out of the festival
it’s interesting to see when form gets
confirmed or form gets changed and dance
City for me was a really intriguing
winner uh at that meeting sticks at
three miles just the one entry at
punchestown and I’m really Keen to see
what Willie Mull’s horse can do the
quotes after that entry run were quite
curious to say that they were shade
disappointed with how he’d run earlier
on in the season back on better ground I
think is going to be key as well which
is going to be really helpful he won a
bumper um I think at Wexford and that
was on good ground then he went on and
got beat by Bal Adam in a decent bumper
at the punchestown festival so we know
he performs Slade steel was actually
back in third that day you know he
performs at this time of year the better
ground’s going to be helpful the only
question might be a sixth run of the
season I suppose you know punches toown
we do see some strange results sometimes
but I think he’s a really intriguing
horse and it’ll be certainly a novice
chaser for next year excited about I
know it’s a bit of a cliche but I’d be
really shocked if he doesn’t sign off
with a big run here yeah I really like
he’s such a kind horse he’s a really
nice horse and the size of him I can’t
wait to see him over a fence next year I
took him down to the pre parade before
breed who looks after him actually took
over to to lead him up and he was such a
dude so I’d love to see a big run then
from him so deck where are you looking
yeah I think kind of um Sam touched on
it there it’s probably tricky anti post
punting ahead of punches now cuz you
know Will’s got so many horses different
races so I’m kind of playing a straight
this week I’m going to the punch cup for
anti post bet where we know fter slow is
going to run because that’s uh that’s
his only entry um look I am not for one
second saying fast or slow is a better
horse than gallop and the Chom he
clearly isn’t he has beaten him a couple
of times but he that’s because galipan
has been on a on an off day but ponches
sound clearly brings out the best and
faster slow and as much as anything I
think this bet actually revolves around
gallop and the shamp probably not
showing his best we saw how far below
his best was he was in this race last
year when faster slow beat him and I
can’t I kept going back to Paul Town
end’s comments after the Gold Cup this
year he said he had to go to reserves
that he never knew galap and Des shamp
had you know he must have had a hard
race there um faster slow obviously
unseated in the race so he’s going to
come here a fresh horse he’s always a
horse actually I think that jumps a
little bit right so I think going right
suits him and maybe the on seat of
chelton while it looked a little bit
soft I just thought he was right bang in
the middle of twoo horses and he didn’t
have any room to do his jumping right
and he probably just kind of didn’t give
JJ a great chance look I’m not saying
he’s a better horse than galipan to shum
but history says galipan performs below
his best year so if that’s the case I’m
hoping that fast or slow can pick up the
pieces yeah if he’s going to be him
anywh it’s going to be a punches sound
again then isn’t it and to do that
double between the chelon Gold Cup I
mean sizing John would he have been the
last one when he did the Triple Crown oh
that’s a great shout yeah that was the
top of my head that unbelievable race
for um Jerry called a kraken race
who was it there was that corre was in
the Finish as well wasn’t he it was a
brilliant race so yeah a brilliant race
but it’s going to ask a whole other Tas
than of galfan if he’s going to be able
to double up so chance to take him on
all the same but I’m going to go down
the novice route though novice Chase
route with Monty SAR he’s such a little
star this horse isn’t he and again a
horse that’s had a pretty lightly race
campaign really all things considered
but I thought he ran a Blinder at the
cheltam festival then when he was
jumping upside as we can see here the
absolute worldly that is fact toile when
we had that brilliant clip if anyone saw
the video footage that was circulating
on social media of the three jumping I
think it was the second last all upsides
before Factor file just used that extra
burst of speed that he had to scoot away
from his Rivals Monty s doesn’t quite
have that turn of foot but he will stay
all day and if some of these are tired
at the end of the season the Monty saw
will not be fading out of things he’s
probably going to have to take on span’s
Tower smart horse but he’s got to
obviously answer the Step Up in trip
question Monty star definitely doesn’t
have to do that and he’s also want to
punches sound with his beginnner Chase
over three mils in December so hopefully
he will still be fresh enough to do
himself justice so Monty star for me
right that’s a look ahead to punchan and
some Best Bets at this stage hopefully
that you can take advantage of some of
the prices then ahead of next week but
now we’re going to head over to the soft
set to give you our Best Bets for the
weekend now we’ve looked forward to the
action this this weekend but we’re going
to bring in a new feature where we’re
going to look back for the flat season
at some eye catches from the past seven
days so Sam who has caught your eye from
the last week I quite enjoyed this
challenge set by the producer and I
think uh hopefully we can flag through
and find some nice horses and with that
in mind I decided to go for something
that just had the one run I went to
Newbury last Friday it was the one mile
2 novice race um it was quite an
intriguing contest it was actually won
by Richard Hannah who had a great
weekend at new
um and the winner was definitely did it
really nicely voyage and will be a horse
that I’m sure will go on to to nice
things but looking back through the race
I kind of really found that the second
that we’re going to highlight here at
vanish who we’re picking up it was drawn
wide and had to sort of go wide around
both Ben Horse by Galileo uh Harry
Charlton trains him and Harry’s actually
seemed to have his string quite forward
this year it’s been quite noticeable but
the time was nothing special but just
the manner of the fact that he had to
work quite hard here he’s by Galileo
he’s definitely going to be a horse I
think you might see it one mile four
next time out those kind of slightly
more extended trips he’s obviously at
this stage could be anything I don’t
like to use that phrase I don’t necessar
think he’s going to be the next
Superstar but I definitely think he’d be
more than capable of taking a race of
this nature and uh yeah I just thought
with him having to come that bit further
wide round the Benz he finishes well and
the most interesting thing here the
first and the second this was their
debut runs whereas in behind the third
the fourth the fifth and the sixth had
all all had experience and more
importantly that experience had all been
fairly promising runs seconds thirds and
a first so for my money I just think you
can upgrade the Run newb maidens tend to
be a good pointers through the flat
season and uh he’s certainly not one
that’ll be disappearing out of my ATR
tracker anytime soon that’s Vanishing
nicely done nicely teed up with the pun
as well but he um he’s a big horse isn’t
he though like I say the trips that he’s
going to be getting if they gets soft
ground throughout the summer then as
well that doesn’t look like it’s going
to be inconvenience on from what we’ve
just seen there so vanish then in the TR
CER for Sam but deck where were you
looking yeah um my eye catcher was also
at newb um and she ran last Friday at
Grand Providence trained by Andrew
balding um I just think she’s going to
have a big year this year um she’s a big
girl she’s buying Nathaniel I think both
on pedigree and on physique everything
about her said she’ll be um she’ll be
better again this year she she made up
um a bit of ground here late but I
definitely think she was a little bit
Rusty off the bridal and then her when
you’ll see now once she hits the line
her stride was quite quite collected I I
think she clearly needed the run which
is absolutely no surprise given the size
of her um and I wanted to highlight a
horse who maybe people could follow
through uh throughout the the the summer
at the big kind of festivals I think
she’ll run on Sky Sports racing at the
Chester cup maybe at that meeting maybe
in the big race or uh in the
constellation race and then I think
she’ll go to to Royal Ascot trained by a
brilliant trainer and Andrew balling and
it looks like oen Murphy will be riding
so uh everything about her from her
connections to her pedigree to her size
and her form will be better this year
and I hope she can um win her next start
at Chester exactly well I say well
plugged in for the channel as well on
Sky Sports racing hopefully we’ll get to
see her again now we’ve all done very
well on the whole company front because
we’ve all gone to newb for our look back
then and for our video clips as well
because I’m going El Mala here now this
is probably a little bit of bias then
for me because of course I sided with
her in the Fred darling I thought I was
on to a 17 to2 winner for this one
despite massive Market weakness before
the off now this was just a second
career start after that really
impressive debut at soua where she
darted to the left there to get rolling
now again here she was just in a pocket
you see the winner is just pinning her
into to her left hand side whether or
not she was completely in Top Gear at
this point I think she probably was but
you just have to say the greenness that
she showed still the inexperience that
she can take forwards now and look as
soon as she darts to her left again just
as she did at southwell she’s taken off
over the seven furong so she’ll be
absolutely fine over a mile she’s
currently around a 25 to1 shot for the
Thousand guies with bet Victor I don’t
think that’s a bad old each wve price
and still what is an open contest then
for the Thousand guies this year and a
renewal given that she was vastly
inexperienced in comparison to her
Rivals at newb so El MAA may just trying
to get some returns then from siding
with her on that second start but they
were on look back horses then and our
eye catch is also put into your ATR
tracker from the last seven days
anything that caught your eye let us
know in the comments section below
because now we’re going to give you our
Best Bets for this weekend so Sam would
you like to kick us off again and again
we’ve got some more boosts as well right
let’s walk you through the Boost and
then I’ll go through mine so uh I let
the Traders take a little look through
what we’re putting up this week so it’s
kind of of they pulled together what
they fancied um they clearly thought my
couple of selections were too short
because I’ve got a a double green double
for the guys out so if you like imper
pass and if you like Al fabola like I do
they’ve boosted that double um of your
selections Kate they took a look through
the one they wanted to take on and boost
was John Bon so that was quite
interesting I think there’d be a big
price there and then rexie for you we’ve
uh taken a little look and we’ve um gone
for your nap you’ll be pleased to know
you headed for Leicester but we’ll let
you reveal the selection a bit later on
right Kate my Best Bets then uh as
mentioned a bit of a double green fan
this week so it seems only right that my
nap is going to be imper pass who I
think will be hard to beat I think he’s
going to get the better of langad dang
and really just confirm that form which
a few of us are a bit suspicious about I
guess given what happened with Bob
Olinger uh we’ll move on to my next best
which is El fabiolo I am convinced he
will put John Bon in his place and we
finally get the Clash um I appreciate
chelton was a concern to some people but
the fact that Will’s running him here um
I think is a real positive and the
better ground as Declan was saying
earlier is definitely going to suit and
then finally my long shot it’s seems
appropriate that the long shot we’ve all
been caught at 16 to1 I think he ticks a
long shot box I think he’s an each-way
play really excited to see how he gets
on again another horse that will
appreciate that better ground that we’re
going to get at sand down um relatively
unexposed as a chaser and I think that
Ultima run was pretty impressive
actually given that he would have hated
the conditions that day those are my
three fingers crossed we’ll get a winner
or two the double green double goodness
I mean I siding against both of those
horses at their individual prices but
that double being boosted oh they’re
luring Us in to be fair now I’m as well
be playing that at this stage and take
them on then individually so liking that
a lot deck but where were you looking
for your Best Bets yes um the nap is
actually going to go at Lester for me
this weekend I’m I’m itching to get
running at the flat season this year so
we’ve uh we’ve got one more week of jump
stuff and then we can get to the flat
but Thunder or I thought would go very
well at Leicester um re I really
impressed with his run last time out at
at Doncaster in in the Spring Cup I just
think um he probably was given a tiny
little bit too much to do although at
the same time there was quite a headwind
that day and he got plenty of cover but
the time in the sectionals combo over
that straight mile at Donnie stood up
very well to what Sharon did in the
earlier group race so uh I thought the
form looks very strong both on the clock
and there was a winner from the race as
well yesterday uh he’s a horse who likes
to travel strongly there is a bit of
pace in the race and if Lester get any
reain that will absolutely suit this guy
he’s good in the mud uh and then the
next p we’ve already discussed is H am I
right at Sandown I’m hoping um the case
of him being fresh and getting some nice
ground to run and is going to get him
home here for the Henry de bromhead team
and then the long shot is also going to
come in the bet 365 called cup its
bangers and cash what a name for a horse
uh this fell has been working himself
back into form his last two runs at sand
down have been very good and he’s
trained by the Ben Pauling team uh
who’ve had a really good season that
another winner again yesterday um he’s a
horse who’s been running well over three
mile at the track going going up and
trip again will suit him just been
working himself into form so he’s w at a
f that I thought could go well 33 to one
like say for are that have had an
unbelievable season as well and thunder
or one of those horses that we are
boosting as well but make sure to head
to the website then to take advantage of
that boost now my own Best Bets then
because I am kickstarting with Langer
Dan I’m taking on S then on the nap
front here because this of course is in
the four turn at sand down I have to
train take on in per pass at his short
odds given that he doesn’t do all that
much when he is in front Sandown is not
that track to really Suter thinker
either so ladan to rewrite the wrong of
anry hopefully back up that performance
as well and prove himself as a proper
graded performer next best is going to
go in the aformentioned bet 365 Gold Cup
coming up at 335 at sown it’s going to
be Nick rocket for the soon to be likely
uh Champion trainer Willie Mullins a
young unexposed source much better than
it initially reads in the Irish Grand
National last amount one pound higher
here he would have learned plenty from
that that he can put to good use in this
Marathon event and again I actually
agree with Sam with the long shot we’ve
all been caught for the Twist and
davises in here he slipped under the
radar somewhat well apparently not for
us to though in the shudio here uh he’s
never been an easy horse to predict
admittedly but like say I think that the
better ground rather than the rain Soden
ground that he faced at Chon L out will
see him to a good effect and he’s again
he’s a horse where he’s going to come
good at some point hopefully then we’ve
all been caught can give us a good run
for our money at 16 to one but that is
us then for our Best Bets and everything
on this week’s show so a big thank you
to both deck and to Sam for all of their
hard work as per usual big thank you to
you at home for watching best of luck
with your bets this weekend and we’ll be
back next Friday to look ahead to the
2000 guies as well as the rest of the
action from New Market

  1. It's going to be a BIG WEEKEND OF RACING!! El Fabiolo Vs JonBon And Impaire Et Passe Vs Langer Dan!! We Just Have To Watch And Hope!!❤😊

  2. Weveallbeencaught is a standout to me. I think he'll love this quicker ground and the extended trip and he ran much better at the festival than his 6th would imply on horrible ground against Chianti Classico who put in an A1 performance. That was a decent run after whacking a couple of fences along the way. His form with Flooring Porter and Broadway Boy is standout and he's one of only a couple (the other being Nick Rockett) with any real upside. Amirite looks a bit of a weak finisher to me. Think Weveallbeencaught may start single figures and granted a clear round and luck in running I think he'll win this with ease. The one slight negative I have is he's never run right handed but with 7 of his 10 runs coming at Cheltenham I'm not reading too much into that.

  3. El Fabiolo beat jonbon better horse jonbon tough race last day great see two top jockeys against one another again remember shiskinvenergume this time on Paul Townend side but debonville is class to

  4. Kate would even better with even more lip filler and botox.
Maybe she could freeze herself soon after and have immorality 😂

  5. I really dont get everyone's tipping amirite tbh . Yh hes got his ground but i just don't think hes any good! 13/2 is kinda ridiculous price. Happily let him win .

  6. If anyone listens to these yis are mad. The entire industry is corupt to the core. Its why the arse has fallen out of the betting industry. Their own figures dont lie. Look who sponsors all these channels, podcasts etc…….they've destroyed their ( own ) with greed! Trainers jockeys the lot. Report my comment please as it will allow me challenge it and produce evidence are evidence that we all know! Disgusting the corruption and cheating, robbing punters. No im not a gambler. Same with all poker and casino sites. Everything is out in the open now!

  7. Jonbon is a Sandown specialist, proven. It's going to be emotional, MAYBE even an Epic clash vs the also brilliant El FABIOLO, even that name is Cool!! Mullins will get crowned at this meeting , so their fairytale main event 'Gold Cup winner', is the fairytale finish, that may top the day for the HIM AND HIS TEAM. .
