染谷将太が空海を熱演！　映画「空海－KU-KAI－」予告編

　俳優の染谷将太さんが主演する日中共同製作映画「空海-KU-KAI-」（チェン・カイコー監督）の予告編が11月13日、公開された。映像には、約6年をかけて東京ドーム8個分の土地に再現されたという“長安の都”が映し出され、主人公の僧侶・空海を演じる染谷さんや詩人・白楽天（はくらくてん）を演じるホアン・シュアンさん、楊貴妃役のチャン・ロンロンさん、安倍仲麻呂役の阿部寛さんらのシーンも登場する。

　映画はベストセラー作家・夢枕獏さんの「沙門空海唐の国にて鬼と宴（うたげ）す」（角川文庫／徳間文庫）が原作で、玄宗皇帝と楊貴妃の悲恋から30年後の中国・唐の時代、日本から遣唐使としてやってきた若き僧侶・空海が、白楽天と共に、首都・長安を揺るがす巨大な謎に迫る……というストーリー。2018年2月24日公開。

Shota Sometani acted Kukai (Kung Hai)! Annouced the movie trailer “Kung Hai -KU-KAI-”

The movie trailer of Chinese-Japanese collaboration “Kung Hai-Ku-Kai-” (directed by Chen Kaige) with starring actor Shota Sometani was announced on November 13th.

The video presented the city of “Chang’an” where re-imagined on the 8 land lots in Tokyo Dome, staged for six years and it also featured some scenes from the protagonists Kukai (acted by Shota), Poet Bai Guzzi (acted by Hoang Hien), Yang Guifei (acted by Sandrine Pinna) and Abe no Nakamaro (acted by Abe Hiroshi).

The movie was originated from the work “Shamon Kukai Tou no Kuni nite Oni to Utagesu” by the best-seller Author Yumemakura Baku. The story was set in the Chinese dynasty 30 years after the blind love story of Tang Xuanzong and Yang Guifei. Kukai – a young monk as the envoy from Japan along with Bai Guzzi approached the enormous mystery in the city of Chang’an.
