Not a nail tech and I’m just learning as I go so don’t listen to anything I say You’re supposed to start with a thin layer don’t cure it add a bigger glob and work it down the nail this Builds an apex basically the tallest thickest part

Of the gel and if you have longer Nails it’s supposed to help them not break that’s what Google said y’all said rubber base adds more strength to your nails and just gel polish or regular polish both of which I’ve been using but it can still be soaked off with acetone

So I think I did okay I’ll need to practice the application more but it wasn’t as hard to work with as I thought it was going to be in this color come on it’s so pretty and now we just have to wait and see how long it’ll last

As always, don’t listen to anything I’m saying 😉 and read all manufacturer’s instructions before using any products, especially gel. So many of y’all recommended I try a rubber base coat to prevent my longer natural nails from breaking so I did a bunch of research and chose this one from a fellow content creator / business owner @Nailzkatkat . I’ll keep you updated on how it lasts and if it actually goes well this might be my new base and I’ll just paint nail polish over it? I’ve seen other nail artists do that so I dunno.
