【神前式vlog】一生に一度の神前式当日の思い出👘⛩️白無垢/明治神宮/新年の挨拶

Good morning! today i’m having shinto wedding ceremony! i know it’s out of blue, woke up at 5.30 am!! i’ve got a puffy face, cooling my eyes with this olive young tool! first i purify my hands! trying out the kimono! mom’s turn! look at the height gap lol nice! trying out my white kimono!

Trying out iro-uchikake too i went for this one! chose ten orchids! makeup by Rei! pretty! looking nice! i look cute with her makeup rei: thanks! thanks for coming this early! good good! masterwork by rei! finish look! done! mom’s here! you look great, mom! let’s go! don’t i look pretty? so pretty!

I will be posting on wednesdays and fridays! okay so, so this video might have surprised you, i wanted to surprise you guys on the first video of 2024, so i’ve kept it a secret! so this time, i mean it’s supposed to be only one time, the place i chose is Meiji-jingu shirine.

We’re planning to do a wedding ceremony this year, and i will be sharing the process too! but we really wanted to do a japanese style ceremony for our grand parents! we wanted to do more earlier, but we ended up reserving the venue one month before the d-day.

So it was so rushing and chaotic! i’d recommend this style for those of you want to do family wedding, and the reason why we chose Meiji-jingu shrine is because of its accessible location, we also took a look at Tokyo-Daijingu Shrine, but it was smaller than we thought! so we went for Meiji-jingu,

As the ceremony also serves as a photo shooting, and Meiji-jingu looked like a great shooting location for it. also i wanted to do their pledge style! so this time, no i keep saying this time ahaha so this is the reason why. it ended up being a short video,

About the costume, i wanted to wear white kimono, but when i was trying out the kimono, i saw iro-uchikake there. that’s the first time i was taught about white kimono / iro-uchikake diffrence. and it looked beautiful! i was so fascinated, also if i wear both it’s get cheaper,

So i decided to do both. and so i got two pattern of photos! also i wanted to put on orchids, so i wore orchids other than wata-boushi, and the total cut ended up being 14, that number is not standard, i was told they rarely do that big number!

First i thought, the attendance wouldn’t be allowed to take pictuers, turns out they were free to take pics, so i didn’t really have to go for that many cuts. but yeah, it’s once in a lifetime exprience, went for various style cuts! then after the photoshoot, and the ceremony and the pledge.

It was a great experience overall, Miles’ dad, who is american, also enjoyed the ceremony so that was good, i wanted my friends to take pics, so i invited hayami, ayano and sunwei! they kindly took pictures and videos for me! also i only asked for hair set,

Rei came for me to put makeup on me, it was super early in the morning tho! yeah so, it was in November, and, in terms of schedule… my lips hurt because of MILK’s lipstick we went to see the venue before the europe trip, and reserved the venue in the last minute

We did the ceremony on 5 Nov, and i picked the costume on 25 oct. ten days before the ceremony! for iro-uchikake, i really liked this gold one, it looked super cool, but when i wore this one i was determined to wear this one. so i went for this orange one,

Yeah so, there’s nothing really left to share about, especially we have the footage! we are having one year wedding anniversary next month, and we’ve been dating for almost about ten years! so we were talking about when we met, i ws 24. and can’t believe i’m 34 now…

But i’m really happy that we did it, but in the next ceremony i won’t wear kimono, i thought about wearing one when changing the costume, but we already did it, so i’d rather wear sparkly dress! lol and i’m planning the next ceremony but it’s so much work!

I knew it would be a lot of work, but we decided to do it, i chose my dress and we have our wedding planner, venue is almost fixed, next week i’m having a final meeting with my planner and decide all the stuff!! all the invitation list,

And whom to invite from the party and stuff… it’s just so much work! and costs a lot, obviously. but i believe it’s gonna be a great ceremony, please stay tuned! so yeah, hope you enjoyed my surprise wedding ceremony video, hope you guys liked it!
